This is entirely correct. Activist government is the disease. Money in politics is the symptom. Reduce government back to 1927 levels and money in politics will dry up.
...and who has almost a billion dollars to spend on the election? Let me give you a hint, his name is...well, I'm not really sure, he has a couple of them.
It looks to me that people who complain most about "money in elections" really use this as a code word for shutting up political opponents. Far better to cure the disease than the symptoms.
i thought it was because citizens united. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57369987/how-super-pacs-are-shaping-the-presidential-race/ 22 people donated over 60% of all the money raised by the Super PACs. These days .0001 of 1% decide whos president.
Again in the last election, it was unions who gave the most. It is nice to see how the union bosses spend their members money of such worthwhile causes
Exactly. They refuse to admit that Unions are just as corrupt and evil as corporations and Unions give more.
Look at $30 million unions spent in WI to recall State R's and now they are going after Gov Walker Unions get a pass on this issue since they give so much of their slush fund money to Dems - at the expense of the workers The workers Dem claim to care so much about
