Does this guy really think he has any chance of winning the presidency? Basically he is openly stating he wants his religious views imposed on everyone regardless of their faith or lack of faith. To me, this wacko is un-American, and no different than the taliban. He was disgusted at Kennedy's remarks for promising not to impose his faith on others? If thats not openly admitting he wants a theocracy then I don't know what is. Bottom line is this guy has archaic, hateful, and bigoted views for those who do not share is "morals". Go away Rick America hates you and your type of faith. (on second thought win the nomination so Obama can win a second term).

It sounds like if he became President, he'd get his marching orders from Rome and to me, that's totally unacceptable. We need to keep religion in the home and house of worship where it belongs.

On the plus side, I don't think he'll end up being the republican candidate for office of President.

Your title is MOD EDIT SING THIS WORD IS NOT RESPECTFUL DEBATE Christophobic paranoia and wholly an untruth. The seperation of church and state is a leftist loser fabrication and unconstitutional, as all things leftist are.

One of the problems is that your thread title is a lie.

Santorum never says he wants a Christian theocracy.

    Yes, he criticizes JFK.

But JFK saying that he wouldn't let his religion influence his policy decisions de facto declaring

"My religious beliefs are meaningless. Because they make no difference in my life and how I live it".

If someone truly believes in their religion, it will influence everything they do.

And for your information, there is no such thing as a "Christian theocracy" because absolutely nothing in Christianity dictates how an govt. on Earth should be run or what laws it should follow.

It is a leftist tactic to insite fear and loathing by exageration and untruths expressed as undeniable fact. It worked in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia. Two societies greatly admired by progressive leftists.

I hope Rick Santorum becomes president. Since the reps are war mongers, he can start a war with the Muslims. Then all the nut-jobs believers in yahweh can meet all the nut-job believers in allah, in one gigantic battle. And kill each other of.

    Two great things would happen:

1 – Atheists could take back the world and the world could finally see peace, common sense and reasoning rule the planet.

2 – We can get rid of the over population problem that is developing.

C'mon believers, there is an after-life right? What are you afraid of?

More Christophobic fear of the invented and imagined theocracy to come. Leftists are so clueless, if that fear was not so pathetic it would be funny.

oh. Looks like Rick has not been killed off by the left quite just yet.

Gotta clear the field so that they can start to work on murdering Mitt in the media. A job that will not be all that difficult.

I'll tell you what Americans are getting tired of. An overly controlling fed and the media and democrats telling us who we are and what we think. We're gonna show you a thing or two, MOD EDIT USING WORDS LIKE THIS ARE NOT RESPECTFUL DEBATE.

Conservatives seem to be more routinely using gobbledygook language these days. It seems to come out as they become more frustrated with their presidential candidates and having to pick one of them to support. If this gets any worse and they become completely immersed in a language known only to themselves, it may put an end to any discussion. . . which could be a blessing, I guess.

Ah...so you'd be cool with Santorum following through on his beliefs and making it a criminal offense to use contraceptives?

You think its okay for people to go to prison for using condoms?

Our current President doesn't have extremist religious beliefs that say that gays should be second class citizens or that people should go to prison for wearing condoms.

Until he claims that God speaks to him every morning to tell him what to do and that God has told him he should bomb Iran, I'm good.
