Obama calls Sandra Fluke, student dissed by Rush Limbaugh I'm still waiting for Obama to phone the troops who are being threatened to be put on trial by the Afghan government for burning already desecrated Qurans to see if they are alright. *crickets*
She'll be just fine. They will give her a cushy job as a law professor to reward her, like they did with Anita Hill. She will never have to do an honest day's work again in her life.
Laura Bush only had 2 kids.....did Nancy Reagan have any?? I think its safe to say they were sluts who used birth control
seriously....how does Rush not have any kids???? it sounds like all 4 of his wives must have been sluts!
Where did this woman ask for taxpayers to pay for her "sexcapades". I had a teacher in junior high school who used to say "Paying attention is the key to NOT looking like a fool". I had no idea how right she was!
I want to know how the Romneys were married over 30 years and only had 6 kids..... someone was slutting it up I bet.
I just think it's outrageous he called this woman to see if she was alright...WTF??? Like this is a big priority??? Maybe he could focus on fixing the economy, but birth control is much more important, at least to cloud the issues of the day. Take the focus off what problems we are really facing.
Agree..... With all that's going on in this country and our troops that Obumma is the 'leader' of, he's worried about a college kid who's worried about her sex life..... NOT surprising at all...........
I find it interesting that everyone's making a big hub-bub about "slut" but hardly anyone's talking about whether or not Limbaugh was accurate with use of the word "prostitute", which was even applied in back to back sentences. My guess is that Limbaugh pointing out that the woman asking to basically get paid to have sex and can therefore be interpreted as being a prostitute, is an insult that hits way too close to home, so people focus on slut and ignore the rest. In any case, I think the matter is rather irrelevant. This is talk radio---it's opinions---and in the sphere of opinions espoused by both radio hosts and their callers, "slut", particularly in the manner in which he said the word (he phrased it as a question, for crying out loud), is rather quite tame. What made me far more concerned is all these politicians jumping in to have a word about this, especially Obama. What the hell is the President of the United States doing phoning his support in a private citizens' dispute? Oh that's right, it's on a political issue that he's trying to get support for---that don't make it class, and that don't make it his business. That makes it pure political gerrymandering. Boener and Pelosi can shut up too as far as i'm concerned. They have no business espousing thier opinions and condemnations from their seats of power on the opinions of private citizens.
hes wrong on every count. insurance covering a drug is not them paying you and a woman who uses the pill is not a "slut" and if they are he can explain why he doesnt have any kids
No kidding!!! This is what the POTUS has time for? Our economy is in shambles, but this he has time for...and golf? Its like his entire political life is one big photo op. The Left is doing EVERYTHING possible trying to take everyone mind off of whats actually important. FREE birth control is a priority? All these social issues getting slammed in our faces right now. Is it really important to the state of the country right now? NONE of these sidehows are. How about show us a freakin budget Mr President? 3 years now and NOTHING!! How about show us how you'll cut 100s of billions of spending per YEAR, not over 10 or 15 years. Geeze.
I can see Bill Clinton calling her lickety split. If she's having sex 3000 times a year, she's probably limping. I wonder what the male student body thinks of her? Does the pill offer STD protection? _
another righty who needs a basic sex ed class huh>? let me help you...you do not take the BC pill based on the volume of sex youre having. it doesnt exactly work like that.
^^^that makes no sense. You just cannot get over the tongue-in-cheek comment, can you? That's what it was, you know. His joke was based upon the casual joking observation that anyone who was screwing so much as to endanger their budget for contraceptives had to be a slut or prostitute. I thought it was funny, and a sharp cut at the woman - a woman who was engaging in willful leftist activism at a University with religious traditions which disagree with her lifestyle regardless. He probably has more self-control than you.
im not sure what part of insurance coverage is not a payment to you....that neither you nor rush seem to follow. if you can explain your confusion in detail id be happy to help no he said today wanting to have sex without consequences makes you a slut. which would include every married woman using contraception right, so its ok to use obscene terms to describe anyone who you dont agree with. is that what youre endorsing?
Funny, I listened to Limbaugh, and didn't get the impression that he was "just joking" at all. My perception is that 1) if it was a joke, calling a woman a slut or prostitute simply for arguing for a right is the crassest of "joke" that is totally inappropriate for a broadcaster, 2) he failed to apologize to her, and to the contrary 3) he has continued to refer to her as having sex all the time. This kind of baseless personal attack on an innocent person is completely inappropriate, I don't care which side does it. Any person who would call a private woman a "slut" or "prostitute" simply because she is asserting what she believes to be a right or interest is a complete classess (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), as is anyone who would defend such action.
