    Har har har.

While Michelle's food Nazis are pulling kid's lunches away and making them eat more fruits and veggies, it turns out that too much fruit is rotting kid's teeth.

Proving once again that the Obamas are a menace to our country, and even to our kid's health.

Time to send these clowns packing.

    November can't come soon enough.

I think if Michelle Obama came out with a campaign for happiness, conservatives would find a way to say that happiness is detrimental to our nation.

Yeah you're right, the current diet and state of the country in terms of health and obesity is just fine. You know most countries don't even carry the same sizes in 'children's' clothing that we have. You have to let it go. When you post things like this, you come across as a crazy person

It hurts your teeth and body far less than soda. Anyone who drinks multiple coca-cola's per day (and there are millions across america who do) will find in a few years that their bones have deteriorated to that of someone twice their age.

Juice is only bad for your teeth if you don't brush. And of course dentists exaggerate dental dangers of all sorts to make extra bucks through over the top powered toothpaste, electric tooth brush, and dental procedure sales.

There it is again. Attack the dentists as greedy liars.

Just like Obama attacked the doctors as greedy liars during the Obamacare debate and Clinton attacked the pharma companies as greedy liars during the Hillarycare debate.

Democrats are liars, so they assume everyone else is too.

You must be the racist since you dragged race into it not me.

There's plenty of reasons to hate the Obamas that have nothing to do with their race.

Anyway, I voted for Alan Keyes in 1996 when he ran for President.

    By the way, he's black.

I really can't agree about the fruit - that has natural sugar in it, which is healthy, but fruit juices does have a lot of added sugar in it & that's not good.....

My beef is the dam sodas that kids guzzle a lot of! It's nothing but rotgut stuff, loaded w/sugar and the dark sodas are addictive...... that's the stuff that MO and the dentists should be fighting against........

OK well you just disrespected your father and called him a liar.

I would never disrespect my father. Not ever. Not even in an anonymous internet forum.

Fact: A diet with more fruit and vegetables, less processed foods and corn syrup would greatly improve children's health, 'real' self esteem, cognitive functioning and overall lifespan. Why on Earth would you be against this?

The best thing for them to drink is low fat mild and/or water.

When you get used to drinking water, you love it. I love water. Right outta the tap. I would never waste money buying water...lol.

No... I didn't disrespect my father. I told the truth.

Also, I have no respect for my father anyways. He gambled away all my families money, cheated on, and then divorced my mother when I was 9, and didn't pay child support, he also got put through Vanderbilt medical school by my mothers parents and never thanked them. There are numerous other things he did that have further destroyed or relationship.

I have no respect for that man.

I see no racism here, what are you on about?

As for the thread topic, the dean of course is correct, fruit juice contains organic acids and sugar which is potentialy dangerous for the teeth. Some precautions should be taken, such as not drinking it too often or cleaning the teeth afterwards (even a rinse is enough).

Right. Fruit juice is loaded w/to much sugar, so just a glass once in a while, but don't agree w/fruit, itself. When I was a country kid, I ate a lot of fruit - we had a veggie & fruit garden and grew up on fruit and my kids grew up on fruit - all of it..... and all of us have good strong teeth - but you have to brush every day also, w/dental care...

Eating a piece of fruit is fine, but drinking fruit juice is a bad idea, because not only does it contain naturally occuring sugars, it aslo contains added sugars. A glass of milk would be far more beneficial.

milk consumption is also being encouraged.

IMO they should just ban soda machines in schools. Nothing good comes of allowing it.
