The 'Jesus' movies that I dont care for are the ones showing Him "going thru dramatic gyrations & even shaking" when He healed ppl! He merely, "Spoke the word." He didnt have to 'gin up' the power of God!!

Yeah. As much as I love JCS, The passion of the christ was freaking amazing! one of the best. Most realistic of them all.

I agree...as in the Passion, His multi-day torture, and as per scriptures, "marred more than any man."

    And as was prophesied:

    Isaiah 52:14
But many were amazed when they saw him. His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human, and from his appearance, one would scarcely know he was a man.

Indeed. When it comes to a historical film, more accurate the "passion" takes it. I just like JC Superstar because it's a play, has cool music, and good retro 70's look. And it's a good time for everyone, while teaching you the story of not only jesus but also Judas and their friendship.

Yeah, JC Superstar had an audience to 'outreach' to.

Many ppl also came out of the Jesus Movement of the 60's with movies such as it!
