    No - it ain't the truth. I found the list peurile and ridiculous.

    That list demonstrates why I don't belong to a political party.

    IMO, some people support or oppose things based on nothing more than the general position of their party.

    Most people do not fit either paradigm that the list attempted to construct - it was a list constructed to lampoon rigid absolutes on both sides, and nearly completely inapplicable, other than to employ the rough principles at play at the extremes.

    I found it mostly useless.

    It's not the greatest list, but it highlights how we're prone to 'herd thought'.

    Only if you agree with the list.

    'Herd' thought isn't accurate. I've already asserted that most people do not fit the paradigms attempted by the list, so what I believe you're mistaking for 'herd mentality' is simply a recognition of the differences in core principles at the foundation of ideology.

    It is literally a liberal vs conservative mindset acknowledgement, and - naturally - principled stances will begin to be predictable.
