ABC News can't figure out why the medics wiped the blood off Zimmerman

I mean, really? So ABC News really believed the blood should have been there 4 hours later? No one had a napkin in the glove box?

I mean look Zimmerman could have made up the whole story. I don't know, you don't know, no one knows. But how does this video prove anything?

if there is a fight and someone is bloody, the police and medics on the scene will leave the blood on the guy's face? Does that really make any sense to anyone?

This is perhaps the most bizarre reporting I've seen in a while, even by MSM standards. ABC news is just foaming at the mouth over the prospect of a black teen being unjustifiably killed by a white guy (even if he really is a brown hispanic).

"Wait a minute folks, why isn't there still blood on Zimmerman only four hours after the incident? Yeah, he received first aid, but those guys don't have wet wipes do they? And why doesn't his nose look crooked. Broken noses are usually very obvious from 20 feet away or so."

Am I the only one baffled at the coverage, even knowing and silly the MSM can often be?

Wiping off the blood helps the medics to find injuries.

They do it all the time.

I would think it could be solved by looking at Zimmerman's medical records. If I were him I would certainly make sure all injuries were documented by a doctor.

What! Now just wait a minute. Where is your proof for this? Stop you're just trying to deny an obvious smoking gun.

But why bother when you have surveillance video just 4 hours afterward?

They are just grasping for straws. How pathetic of our "unbiased" media. What a joke. They are trying everything to mold the story to what they want, why not... it is what sells papers.

Of course the medics would clean him up... that goes without saying. It is dumb to even think otherwise. They are not going to let the man sit in blood. Also, even if he did have a broken nose, you wouldn't be able to see it in a video like that. Once the bleeding stops, nothing really happens right away. It is usually the next day when you receive the black eyes and the bad swelling (and even the swelling can be contained if you ice it well enough). I know, I have broken my nose twice.

When I broke my nose I didn't even get any of that. I just have a crooked nose now, but you can only tell it's tweaked when looking up at it from below. The bridge between the nostrils is crooked. But it still looks pretty good on most surveillance cameras!

I'm sure the police took a lot of photo's at the scene and they probably have photo's of Zimmy.

a gash that didn't bleed on Zimmerman's clothes, and that didn't require even a stitch or a stickly staple from the paramedics?

    Nice!

Did "those guys" also have a change of clothes or a washer/dryer to wash of the blood GUSHING from the head wound (even a small gash on the head bleeds A LOT!) and the broken nose?

    Yep. . .that makes sense!

The first time I broke my nose it was bad. It bled a river for a good 10 minutes until I was able to stuff enough towel in there to stop it. That break is when my septum was shifted, blocking one nasal passage like 70%. I had two black eyes and some bad swelling from that one. I said, "oh well" and went back to playing ball after the bleeding stopped. When I got home my mom screamed bloody murder at me and made me go to the hospital, lol.

The second time, just the upper bump swelled up a bit and was black. There was no bleeding and I did not have black eyes. Oddly enough, there is still a red mark there where I go hit.

Good catch Professor. That should clear some stuff up.

I kind of agree with you. I mean, I thought the mainstream media was supposed to be at least somewhat objective? They sure are injecting themselves into this for poltical reasons, aren't they?

This is why we cannot trust the media anymore and why so many people feel the need to do their own research. We can no longer rely on the mainstream....IF we ever could.

    Game over! Well done, Professor.

Anyone notice how ABC's video logo blocked a close up of the back of Zimmerman's head for much of the video?

Actually, it is a gash and a broken nose. Zimmerman is a concerned citizen.

I am sorry Trayvon did not sever Z's spinal cord so that you could justify it as reasonable.

I guess in the land of rabid vitriole, it's easier to believe that this is all a conspiracy cooked up spontaneously by Zimmerman, the entire police department and medical personnel on the scene, not to mention a witness or two, to fabricate the circumstances in which the shooting took place.

believe what they believe, and I can't help but wonder why they aren't calling for the arrest of everyone involved, given that they are clearly obstructing justice, and aiding and abetting a murderer.

I agree; I have the same thing. Unless you knew me, and looked at me very closely, you couldn't tell: not when it happened; not 30 years later.
