The Department of Homeland Security recently stoked concern by contracting a company to provide them with 450 million rounds of hollow point bullets. Now the federal agency is also purchasing bullet-proof checkpoint booths that include ‘stop and go’ lights.

A press release from Shelters Direct brags about how they are providing the DHS with bullet resistant guard booths. Images of the booth from the company’s website suggest the guard shacks will be used to control checkpoints.

“This guard building features a standing seam hip roof, a thru-wall HVAC unit, (2) UL 752 BR Level 3 sliding doors, UL 752 Bullet Resistant Level 3 glass and a Low]E coating. Other noticeable highlights of this prefabricated steel building include metal halide security lighting, decorative window grille frames, and a “Stop & Go” light with controls,” states the press release.

The purpose behind the bullet proof booths is unknown, but the DHS has publicly announced that it plans to increase the number of unannounced checkpoints manned by TSA VIPR teams and other federal agents beyond the 9300 that were set up last year alone. Continued

comment: Oh nothing is happening, NDAA, Obama EO where he can take everything even in peace time, DHS getting ready for war against the people, North Com making military agreements with foriegn nations for duty on US soil without Congress approval, etc etc etc

I always try to verify the Alex Jones stuff by going down every rabbit hole...here's one of the local stories about DHS checkpoints from that article that is, in fact, true.

We had a client call in the other day who want us to do a 440 Motion to Vacate on an earlier plea so he could join the military because he couldn't have a criminal record and get in. Guess where he works now?

Imagine Paul Blart with his hands on your family's genitals. There are no mobile body scanners for these test run VIPR traffic stops.

More paranoia people. FYI, a hostile takeover cannot be accomplished by bullet resistant booths.

Please trust me, it would be better if you just concentrate on your personal health. Who knows, maybe the takeover is already complete :)

I followed the links to all "legitimate", aka MSM news sources, but you disregarded that. How disappointing. Now I know that your posts are unresearched and can be disregarded in the future.

The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) submitted an order for 46,000 rounds of high powered ammo as well. I can probably understand Homeland Security needing ammo, but the government's weather service and Social Security is just plane alarming. Let's not forget that Obama signed an executive order in the spring allowing his government to commandeer private food, resources and land if they want. If re-elected, there will be no bounds to this sociopath's ambitions.

LOL, I doubt your way of life is going to be turned upside by an airport screening.

Zos, if you feel your way of life is threatened, do what you deem necessary. If you want to discuss details of your scenario, e.g., the theme of this thread, I will contest/confront that.

Oooh, it's become "high-powered ammo" now! (And so the conspiracy evolves.)

So, what exactly made this ammo "high-powered"? If it was low-powered ammo, would that be okay then? You know, maybe some kinder gentler bullets that wouldn't kill someone.

(Oh, I'm also wondering how a bullet-resistant screening booth is part of the takeover. Are they going to put them on wheels and roll them out of the airports?)

That's right, the weathermen will be kicking down your door any second! They especially want your Tostidos. Be very afraid!
