Ayman Noor is out also and no point adding the rest of the 6 because you would not know them.

Hazem Abu Ismail because his late mother held citizenship but did not tell the MOI so technically she is a citizen of the USA but because they did not tell the MOI it is not recognised in Egypt.

Khairat el Shatr because he was recently pardoned from prison for money laundering but technically unable to run because he had not served the rehabilitation order after release. The MB knew this and put Morsi into the race also.

Suleiman was banned because he did not get the POA's he required even after his thuggery and threats to the factory workers because he forgot that he had to get them from 15 governorates and he only concentrated on Cairo and Qena where his tribe come from, yes he is an Upper Egyptian man....... and his POA's were signed multiple times by people who signed for other candidates and at least half were forged,,,,,,,,,now all we need to do is get him into Tora along with the rest of the gang of thugs!

    SO

In the race we have the top 3 in order of traffic colour Egyptian style

Abouelmoneim Fotouh ( Allah make this man the president )

    Mohammed Morsi
( the MB back up horse if Shatr fell at the rehabilitation fence)

Amr Mussa (Allah save us from the two headed snake)

If SCAF sign the bill recently passed in parliament ( and they have stated they are neutral so we will see ) then Shafik and Mussa will be eliminated also from the race.

That will leave the 2 front runners Fotouh and Morsi in the run off I predict.

    Egyptians will vote for him

    Fotouh
because he is a moderate Islamist and was not afraid to confront the MB ruling on not fielding a candidate. For his stance long before others in Tahrir against SCAF and when his party were said to be united with SCAF. For being consistent. He is the favourite of the educated middle and upper classes and Christians.

    Shafik
because you like how he built terminal 3 of Cairo airport and you know nothing about Mubarak regime and its cronies or care or were part of that regime and want to see it return.

    Abu Ismail
because you like a president whose family choose to live in Santa Monica California with American citizenship and him stay here to ban beaches and all women to wear niqabs. You will vote for him as you were convinced when he stated that PEPSI stands for Pay Every Penny to Save Israel. A man who barely had 2000 followers till Saudi funding was escalated and TV channels were drowned in Saudi rhetoric in the peasant village cafe TV screens. The man who lies about his mothers citizenship and wants to turn Cairo into Kandahar.

    Mussa
because you like a man who wears expensive suits and can change his agenda and mind and loyalty at a seconds notice.

    Khalid Ali
because you want a young liberal president and if you do not vote Khalid because of inexperience you will be voting Fotouh.

    Moursi
because you were going to vote Shatr but now he is out of the race.

    afwan

    latest from a press friend
FJP and Noor have agreed to only take 30% of constitutional assembly

seems like the meeting with SCAF got them back to original track although I doubt now after all that has happened the rest will accept this latest peace offering

    we will see

Omar Suleimans 'black box' comment seems to have done more harm than good

Egyptians are not happy with that comment about FBI and Washington deal and it just exposes him more and more

I think he should head back to Saudi and take up that offer full time

Israels Ben Eliezer is saying "Israel are going to have to get used to dealing with the MB as they are becoming the major power in Egypt and in the Middle East".

Wise words and things are not going to be the same as they were under Mubarak.

I thought he was a life long supporter of the MB but then to run for President he resigned his membership of that group. So has he just resigned his membership so he can become President but actually he is still affiliated with them or has he dumped them for good?

I have a feeling that the Iran nuclear conference result had a lot to do with what is happening in the region and in Egypt now that I think about it.

Their tone has changed because Iran would never back down that is first.
They have no evidence of any nuclear weapons this is second.
They are now coming to the conclusion even though it has taken decades that Israel and not Iran is the biggest threat to world peace this is third.

and last they know that Egypt is going to be a major player and decider in the region and they now have to choose between the parasite Israel and a whole region who after decades of dictatorship is heading down its own path and making decisions outside of the White House office.

No he was basically rejected by the MB for going against their first pledge not to run a candidate and the atmosphere was not so good.

Now since he seems to be one of the top in the race they may well welcome him back BUT as president he will tone them down as he is moderate and has a large Coptic Christian following. He is more in tune with the young MB than the old MB.

You have seen romney haven't you? Of course people will vote for the guy who wears suits and changes his mind on the political current. People mistake that for being "open minded" and "willing to change"

    Latest

SCAF have said they want to hand power over on time as promised and want the constitution written and agreed before the end of June before election of President.

I think they are sick of this job!

Crazy Mortada Mansour the Jim Carey of the presidential race was chased around Giza by police who were trying to arrest him and who hide and claimed sanctuary in his judge son in laws home
Dear Mortada who claims the Shiekha of Qatar is out to assassinate him has asked the UN for protection :giggle:

    561407664.jpg

The BIG 3 horses Suleiman-Shatr-Abu Ismails lawyers have submitted their appeals and committee have final say with no appeal to any court!
We get verdict from them on 27th April the final list of candidates who are eligible to run and if Abu Ismail is not on that list he has threatened to bring a plague of locusts down on the Election Committe building

    Yarab!!!

Saint Hazem of Abu Ismail wants to know where are the stamps ????

It cant be real if it doesnt have 20 coloured sticky stamps and 10 signatures and 4 ink stamps !!!

Our dear Wahabi war horse still does not believe his late mother held US citizenship.

What Egyptians are more interested in is why the mother of the saviour of Muslims is not wearing niqab...................not even wearing a veil ???????

Is his mother one of those infidel he is always talking about ?

    Egyptians-Without-Borders

As a Lawyer, you must respect Appeal Court Decisions.
As a Presidential Candidate, you must respect the Presidential Committee decisions.
As a Sheikh, you must respect your followers, not mislead them, and never use them as a pointed gun.
As a Salafi, you should respect your Jamaa and protect its image.

Enough now of the lies. Egyptians must stand together and must fight against and rid our land of these Wahabi indoctrinated sheikhs!

If Egypt had an ounce of sense it would align its self with Israel and the USA, forming a Representative democratic republic. It would prosper and its people would be free, if the government was formed with care and fore site. It would be so powerful that the other ME nations would not dare war with it, however the president might have to dodge a few assassination attempts! Instead of doing the right thing for its people its heading down the road to Sharia law and theological despotism. I like Egypt, I love its ancient history and its people. Its a shame watch its revolution only to know its planting the seeds for its own destruction. I have to hand it to the Muslim brotherhood, they are good at the PsyOps game.
