PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The CBS 3 I-Team has learned that a Catholic priest who was removed from the ministry over sex abuse allegations now holds a sensitive security post at Philadelphia International Airport.

The security checkpoint between Terminals D and E is a busy place where thousands of people – including lots of kids – pass through every day. But you might not believe who the I-Team observed working as a TSA supervisor at that checkpoint this week: Thomas Harkins.

Comment: The Rockefellers police State TSA and DHS needs to be shut down! Ron Paul would shut them down but not Obama or Romney, they work for the establishment which created them.

Does TSA normally hired sex offenders to pat down children?

Jumping to conclusions again, Margot? The article is calling them "sex abuse allegations". Sex offenders don't register due to allegations.

You as the HR person would have to manually screen potential candidates for the position by asking them straightforward questions, like how much pornography do they enjoy, what volunteer positions have they had in the past that involved children, how many times have they been married, do they live alone, etc. Anything that would suggest a spotty past or deviant lifestyle...of course, we're talking about the federal government here, so you know that they won't do stuff like that.

You can certainly do that now that Obama has made it en vogue to stomp all over Americans' 1st Amendment rights by going after the Catholics.

    .

Religious discrimination in the workplace? PFFFT! That's just sooooo two months ago!

No, but this may be Obama's way of trying to make amends with the Catholic church.

    It won't work. :)

We DO think that for security people like the TSA, who have virtually unlimited powers to destroy lives in the search for "terrorism  would AT LEAST have enough of a backround check to see why they had to leave their last job!

    This is pathetic!

Of course, OTOH, who would know best how to grope children?
