does obama really have the right to issue a Executive order on the Dream Act?

It wasn't an Executive Order is was a directive.

You guys really need to find a better news source. The Dream act was NOT executed or directed or whatever the (*)(*)(*)(*) you neocons wanna call it.

I love how people use neocon like a diss, and have no idea what the hell it means. It's about as relevant as, "keep defending them, you Whig!"

But, to the OP, they aren't enforcing the laws on the books. They tried what is essentially another amnesty with the DREAM Act, but what Obama has done has been to essentially say, "we're not going to execute the law." He hasn't actually DONE anything against the will of the Congress, he has just not done what IS the will of the Congress. I feel this harkens back to Andrew Jackson's statements regarding the trail of tears. Basically he thumbed his nose.

 

Kinda like how cons call everyone they hate socialists! Yup, it sure is funny!
