What on earth were the liberals thinking when they voted for Obama?

 

They voted for all the wrong reasons. They voted because he was black. They voted because he wasn't an old white guy. They voted for empty platitudes and the "thrill running up their legs". They were scared of what was happening in the economy due to the housing bubble and they voted for the more charismatic orator who promised to fix everything, while promising them free stuff in the future.

It really shows how flawed the election process is when someone as inept as Barack Obama can not only get elected President, but has an excellent shot of being elected again after 4 years of total failure and corruption.

I consider myself a moderate. If what you say is true I most certainly can not vote for President O'Bama, but I am skeptical. Can you back these accusations up with some facts, if not I will not support a cause that is based on untruths, guesses, and theories because I find these unAmerican.

- Probably because we don't want another disaster like the big oil spill in 2010. It's fine to be on oil for the time be, but better to get off it and get on a more reliable source of energy.
- Taking quotes out of context doesn't help your cause. All that quote, by itself, means to me is that he sounds like he's claiming to be open-minded.
- Bill Ayres was a radical in his youth. He did his time. Now he is a respectable professor and a pretty intelligent guy. I don't know why some conservatives keep harping on his ties to Obama to try to demonize him. It's not as though he is still planning on bombing the pentagon.

- yes...it is. For every politician it is. This is not some new and special quality that Obama has.

For F$@#s sake. Obama is a US citizen. Obama is NOT a Muslim. He spent 20 years at a Christian church and even if you have your issues with Jeremiah and that church a real Muslim would NEVER spend 20 years at another religions church. For crying out loud this is the same religion that sends out hit squads to kill cartoonists who draw Mohammed Ali. If they get this upset about a drawings of a heavy weight boxer then you would think they would be really upset if their "secret Muslim president" was attending a Christian church for 20 years. I tend to think that Obama is not particularly religious. He attended the church to up his credibility in the community and nothing more. Lots of people go to church just to look good for other people, so he certainly isn't alone in that regards. I don't think he hates america but I think he is a typical liberal who for the most part goes out of their way to see all the negatives and downplay the positives of this country. He is also not communist although he is clearly a Socialist.

I was actually torn between McCain and Obama. I did like the older Maverick he use to be. Palin got me worried a bit and tipped the scales for me in favor of Obama. Plus there was that added bonus of p!ssing off the conservatives. That was priceless

The claims in the OP are not supported by the actions of the president. I am not sure what I am supposed to look at and what it is supposed to mean to me.

 

That's where you screw up. You think that liberals think. They emote. They do not think. You must appeal to their fuzzy factor. If you can make them feel warm and fuzzy they will vote for you. If you can make their "Big Brother " generation women think that you are Brad Pitt you win their vote. If you can make the Hollywood glitter rub off on you, then you can hide the fact that you are a turd.
