    If he keeps these kind of things up, the lefties will have to prove they could do better, just for the sake of out doing the evil, Glenn Beck.

    Mind you, if that happened, do you think we would see a case of kindness wars? Since I see on this forum all the time, of look at the evil of the other ideology, maybe there could be a good version? Maybe I ask too much.

    Because it WOULD BE, as the Leftists would be paying for it by FORCUBLY TAKING SOMEONE ELSE'S MONEY...of course, we won't be holding our breath waiitng for PERSONAL CHARITABLE GIVING from any LEFTNINNIES, even REMOTELY CLOSE to that of ROMNEY or BECK...

    As opposed to volunteer labour - which is only a one off in a small proportion of the country, has been found not to be sustainable in the long term and is really no different to giving money

    But THAT is right - it is not the right winger themselves who has to pay out/get off their fundament instead they can just sit back point to someone else doing good and proclaim "problem solved"!!

    I say bravo. We may only agree about .0000001% of the time, but I respect anyone who has the decency and humanity to give of their time first and finances second (because I believe time to be more precious) to the less fortunate.

    Guess that would be a no, in the kindness wars, huh?

    Anyway, I think that is great what Beck has done, only wish more people like him would do that. Shows the warm side of the so called hardcore stuffy Conservatives. Personally, I think it's a real genuine, sign of compassion, when a person like Beck gets down and shows charity like this. Why? Because no one forced him to do it. No one expected it, and therefore to me genuine.

    Exactly one liberal in this thread was able to give Beck props for what he did. I think that's quite telling about the priorities of most liberals. Apparently, it is more important for them to hate conservatives than it is to help the less fortunate.

    And how long does this last - a week? A month? a year? Do you not think that volunteer organisations face this all the time?? It is easy to get mass volunteers for a one off time but to get them coming back day after day, well sooner or later they want to be paid.

    You lot talk about volunteers as if they are some sort of special force. Volunteers are or should be YOU
