I hear a lot of talk on here about freedom and liberty but the fact is that the Indians had that before any white man turned up but colonists and later Americans destroyed that freedom and liberty to create the USA.
God, thank you. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one that sees that. The great Constitution and the rule-of-law that all men were equal and had rights was also in effect throughout this time. And slavery. Women's suffrage. Child labor. Capitalist Imperialism in America coinciding with American expansion into the West (did we forget about that time period?) The we started reachng out and spreading all that good gospel to people in Mexico, South and Central America, South East Asia, on and on... Now...of course...we lament the good old days. We just want to get back on "the right track".
