    Democrats and Republicans have not differed that much when it comes to foreign policy, at least not compared to domestic policy. I think it comes with the territory of being the most powerful country in the world.

    VA backlog continues to mount; no clear solutions in sight
    February 26, 2013 WASHINGTON — VA Secretary Eric Shinseki pledged Tuesday that his department will make progress toward ending the benefits backlog this year. House and Senate leaders promised to tackle the issue in upcoming hearings. Veterans groups are lobbying lawmakers this week on the depth of the problem.

    Another example of one party making the mess and then expecting the other party to quickly clean it up...kinda like the crashed economy.

    I wonder though how Obama can do anything at all what with the GOP trying to deep six him at every turn, no matter how damaging to the Amercan people. Some would call the GOP traitors and clamor for their heads.

    October 17, 2014 ~ Ginger Miller served in the U.S. Navy as a bosun’s mate, receiving a medical discharge for an in-service accident. Although her service skills didn’t readily transfer to civilian life, she never dreamed she’d end up homeless, living on the streets for three years with her 2-year-old son and husband, a former Marine suffering from PTSD who also could not find work.
