Listen to obama threatening Assad? Who the hell does this illegitimate war criminal think he is? It is common knowledge the west is actively arming FSA, a known terrorist entity who kills scores of innocents without blinking. But if you are an American sheep youwould think Assad is another hitler. In reality, the federal gov is arming agencies to the etth who have no business having all this ammo. But amerikan regime kbows its legitimacy is wearing thin on the people and if tested in a resistance by americans obama or any us president would make assad look soft.

I dont know. Could be an international menace who was not wanted in a 109 nations throughout history.

But that sounds like the beginning of a conspiracy theory which automaticqlly labels it false and unworthy of mentioning.

It is not a conspiracy if it is already happening , Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Libya ... and with the exception of the last one in every case autocrats were replaced (or will be replaced) by theocrats .

But why would the US, a democracy, be backing muslim fundamentalists?

But that is almost always what the choice in the Middle East comes down to autocrats or theocrats. Apprently the Obama administration is operating under the questionable idea that if we placate the theocrats they will quit trying to blow us up. That by the way is the reason for the Benghazi cover up. It constitutes evidence that there is no circumstance under which various groups of theocrats will quit trying to blow us up.

We have no right to decide the fate of nations.

And ordinary Americans have no reason to be advocating regime change in other countries when ours is corrupt to the core.

There are several US interests afoot in the Middle East. And the interests of several other nations as well. 1st there is the attempt to keep these on going quarrels between autocrats and theocrats from spilling over their borders and on to third parties. We've been engaged in regime change of one sort or the other in the Middle East since Jefferson was president and generally almost always for the same reason. The zanier parties in the strange on going 1400 year dance in the Middle East insist on jacking with us and we insist that when they do so that we should demonstrate that such action is not in their best interest.

2nd, of course there is oil. Oil currently remains the life blood of modern civilization. And not just because of gasoline either. Plastic is the new leather. As umbiquitious as leather was in the economy of the 19th century plastic and synthetic rubber are now. Even if we stopped using gasoline tommrrow we would still need oil.

    Who died?

Nobody, at least, as far as inspiring us to be world dictator.

Plenty have died in our quest to be the gods of the world, however. Funny thing about being a god, is your subjects always try to rebel against you.

"War is the father of us all, King of all. Some it makes gods, some it makes men, some it makes slaves, some free." -Heraclitus Of Ephesus

For real, it's like this is not the same poster or something. I think he's going through an existential crisis.

The objective is to keep Iran off the Arabian peninsula and to stop their funding of the Al Houthis in Yemen... Syria is part of that Iranian mess.

So, you have a problem with President Obama giving a warning about not using chemical eapons on his people. . . .after mons of genocide inthat country. . .

But you still think it was just fine and "patriotic" for Bush to lie about WMd in Iraq with the pretence that it was a threat to our security?
Who the hell did you think Bush was?

And , to answer your (dumb) question: apparently BUSH and CHENEY made us the judge, jury and executioner off the World . . . Based on LIES!

I also believe that yourfriend Romney would have made us the judge, jury and executioner of Iran. . . If he had not failed atfooling the American people . . . Except for the brain deads and big corporation (including the defense industry, of course!).

Hypocrisy seems to be a favorite characteristic of yours.

Romneys concession speech did it for me.

My name has nothing to do with anything.

I am still a zionist. All Jews belong in Israel.

    Bush? Youre still on that?

To answer your question i think Bush was just a dumb texan war hawk who acted on bad information and quick impulses.

But Obama is an elite progressive with superior intellect which makes him responsible for his actions.

    He should know better.

    If not US, then how?

Just wondering who else is willing to put up their own country in order to keep peace and preserve the world from destruction? I would think we would LOVE to have someone else do it........ DOH!

The legitimately elected President of the United States of America.

The same United States that invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, threatens Iran, brokered the peace deal between Egypt and Israel, etc, etc.

If you haven't noticed, we have been involved in other countries affairs extensively since World War 2. We even had the audacity to threaten Hitler and the Emperor.

Foreign policy is a legitimate role of the President, and he spelled out his policy towards Syria before the election, so it shouldn't be a big shock to you.

Whether or not our role in Syria is the correct one- or Iran, Israel, Palestine, Libya, etc is another issue.

One side is going to win in Syria. Do we chose the dictator that Bush labeled as supporting terror- or do we support the many factions fighting against him?

Classical Liberalism and Jeffersonianism died and made highly profitable (for banks, war industry, and crony corps) imperialism the king.

Who controls the media? I just listed them. Why do Americans believe what they believe? The media.
