If Holder wants to march on Kansas he better wear his big boy britches. Read the link and let me know what you think.

Federal law trumps state law every single time. Sorry but your beloved state nullification does not exist, nor did it ever.

I remember when Kansas was the land of Judy Garland and the Wizrd of Oz ... now it's the Wicked Witch with an AR-15.

if Holder wants to enforce federal law, let him do it. Kansas is under no obligation to do so.

Except, of course, for Colorado and Washington's new marijuana laws, and California's blatant violations of federal immigration laws with their "sanctuary" cities....isn't that right, Montoya?

Yes, folks.... when progressive leftist agenda thumbs its nose at the "supremacy clause", the 10th Amendment suddenly becomes all the rage.

    Hypocrites.

Holder hates the fact that Kansas is trying to protect their right to the 2A, but love giing his butt buddies in mexico all the guns they want. Apparently he also has no problem with the thugs in Chicago turning the city into a shooting gallery. Instead Holder's (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) ass wines about a state that is ranked around 40th in terms on states with the most murders or crime lol.

more liberal hypocrisy at its finest.

Did I say that? The federal government has every single to right shut down legal pot in those states. And theres nothing anyone can do about it if they decide to do so.

I didn't forget.....I just didn't want to get in circular semantics games over the microscopic differences between Arizona's immigration laws (and the other states Holder sued) and Federal immigration law.

and yes. They always want it both ways....'of means and ends"....morals, ethics, shame, embarrassment, cognitive dissonance be damned.

good, let them do it. the state is a separate sovereignty and is not required to mimic Federal action. if Holder wants to bust into people homes and steal their medicine, he better get started. there's a lot of houses out there.

Sorry but no. States are not sovereign. They are subject to federal law which takes precedent over state law every single time.

While I applaud CO and WA attempt to legalize pot the federal government has every right to exert its authority over the state.

Don't forget how Holder and his flying monkeys came down on Arizona for doing the work that Obama refused to do. Enforce stated national immigration policy and Holder and Obama will come after you.

that's a negative, ghost rider. the states are not political subdivisions of the federal government. over wise double jeopardy would then apply for when a state and the feds prosecute for the same crime. the sovereignties overlap. when there is a difference between state and federal law, the most restrictive is the one you should follow.

When federal agencies start over stepping their bounds then neither the state or citizen is obligated to obey. Holder needs to worry about enforcing the laws that are already in place instead of trying to restrict a law to protect private citizens.

Kansas can tell the ignornat fool Holder to go pee up a rope. Kansas is following the Constitution. The Constitution basically says that the Fed gov can only do what is allowed in writing in the Constitution, and NO MORE. Everything else is left up to the States!! Is Holder too stupid as to understand that?????

I'm waiting for one of those moments when a democrat politician or pundit says how they really feel about the second amendment

We've already had a little taste with mahar saying its bull-(*)(*)(*)(*), but I think at some point soon we'll hear a frustrated lib say "the second amendment shouldn't apply to white people"

I'd bet big money that holder feels that way

Kansas will not win. The Fed's will step in and do what Federal law say's they have a right to do. Those caught violating the law may face felony charges and if convicted, will lose their right to arm themselves and more importantly, lose the right to vote.

Challenging the law in court is the best course to follow; in the meantime compliance is suggested.

So you are saying Holder should also be compliant? He has refused to enforce federal laws that he doesn't agree with. Does he get a pass and the whole States of Kansas should not?
