Israel's settlements are illegal. They know this.

The settlements make a two-state solution impossible and will force a one-state solution, from the river to the sea.

That means Israel will stop being either a Jewish state...or it will stop being a democracy.

The only way to preserve Israel as a Jewish AND democratic state, is for them to leave most of the settlements.

 

How about the Khazars get the hell out of Palestine and go back to where they belong , some where in eastern Europe. Palestine was stolen by the Rothchilds period! A freakin banker got to steal a country and butchered it's native inhabitants...got to be one of humanity's biggest blights on our history for us to allow that to happen!

2) You'll find most objections come from the anti-Israel side to 2 state solution, and thats proof Israel cannot retreat without a "ball-grabing" agreement.

 

Israel will never leave the settlements entirely. They will use them as negotiating chip to grab more territory IF there ever was any kind of negotiated settlement.

This has always been the goal of the zionists. Anyone reading their early writings shows this was the intention, not to mention using any kind of military excuse to grab as much as they can get their hands on.

Almost the entire world is against them. The only reason they get away with it is due to the support of the US.

A UN human rights inquiry has called on Israel to remove all Jewish settlers from the West Bank and cease expansion. The report said the settlements violate international law, and are an attempt to drive out Palestinians through intimidation.

(*)"Israel must, in compliance with article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, cease all settlement activities without preconditions,” the report read, adding that Israel must immediately begin to withdraw all settlers from the occupied Palestinian territories (OPT).

The inquiry prompted a strong reaction from Israel who slammed the report as biased.

"The Human Rights Council has sadly distinguished itself by its systematically one-sided and biased approach towards Israel. This latest report is yet another unfortunate reminder of that," said spokesman Yigal Palmor in a statement.

The 1949 Geneva Convention prohibits the transfer of a civilian population into an occupied area – such an act could constitute war crimes if brought before the International Criminal Court. Following the UN’s de facto recognition of Palestine last December, Israel announced plans to build thousands of homes in the OPT.


In response, Palestine wrote to the UN warning that Israel's planned expansion into the occupied territorieswould lead to more war crimes being committed.

The UN investigators interviewed over 50 people who were driven from their homes. They described how their livelihoods were destroyed and their land was confiscated, and how they were subjected to continuous violence from Jewish settlers.

I fear that negotiations will never come back and the two state solution will be abandoned.

Then Israel has to choose between being a democracy and being a Jewish state.

When more than 50% of a nation's inhabitants are not Jews, a nation cannot be a Jewish state and be a democracy. Its one or the other.

If you had a clue you would know that 95% of Jews todays are khazars...in other words they are not real jews...The Ashkenazis originated from Europe not the Middle East. So Tell us, how did Eastern Europeans magically become owners of a country they have no historical ties too?

Go to Israel and you will see a very large non-European population.

However to be accurate Palestine had a very small proportion of Jews who obviously have as much right there as everyone else, until European Jews got into the idea of creating a home for Jews there and even then European Jews were not keen on it at all. The thirties gave rise to a lot more immigration but many Jews stayed at home being against the idea of zionism. Unfortunately a lot of them were lost in WW2.

European Jews encouraged Jews to come from other countries for instance Iraq and then Muslims got so fed up that many of them at different times chucked their Jews out. Egypt has recently asked her Jews to come home and Obama was keen to have a 'right to return' for ME Jews as well.

Therefore if we are being straight we would need to say that Israel has mainly immigrant Jews who have been working on replacing the Palestinian Christian and Muslims.

They have been living either as Israeli citizens with 2nd class citizenship or basically with no rights. They accept Israel is there now as a fact.

I agree with you that it is either a two state solution or the end of a Jewish democratic state, though I think time has passed for 2 states to be possible and Bennetts position is probably more honest.

However at this point you can't just deport all the Israelis back to Europe, so you here's what you do:

Israel withdraws to the originally agreed-upon border.

Then, if Hamas attacks them, they can take the Gaza Strip if they want, and keep it.

But they should NOT be in the West Bank, unless they go the Hamas route as well. The Arabs should be allowed to kick the Israelis out of there, and if the US intervenes because Israel starts a war over it then I hope lots of US Soldiers get killed and the US government gets taught a lesson for being so loyal to Israel that they support them even if they're doing something wrong.
