How do you figure that? If no money is forthcoming the Russians simply shut down the compressors and the EU freezes.

1)My world is 1/7 of planet surface. It is not small by any standarts.

2)Also, this stuff is produced in China anyway.

3)This article is about sanctions on 21 officials,no?

Now imagine your world without heat and electricity. Of course if you can pay for it from your welfare now. He-he.

    1) Yep. Especially to Khodorkovskiy and Berezovskiy...oh...wait.....It seems your fantasy was pwnd once again.
2)Nope. Most of hardware is developed in Japan and Taiwan, while technically owned by "American" companies. But it is not like they can't be stolen or reverse-engeneered if needed.
    3) So how would your world work without electricity, heat or fuel?

In case you did not notice we have spring time and almost 20 C. Beside that we have storage bases that can supply germany in hard winter for over 8 months. In that time russia is already bancrupt.

There are other sources of fuel and before Russia started exporting theirs the Europeans were doing fine and will do so with it now, it hurts Russia far more than it will hurt Europe.

If so, there will be a mighty amount of green crow eaten in the EU because all they have is coal. But the US will cheerfully sell the EU all the high quality US steaming coal they want - as they are currently.doing. Hampton Roads has dozens of colliers riding at anchor awaiting loading at the CSX and Norfolk Southern coal piers.

Wonderful hysterics of the West concerning to Crimea!

Mister MarkusS, do not worry about 600 millions € which you have blocked. These are millions of infringers of Russian law. Russian officials have not right to have financial actives outside the Russian Federation according to our laws. So Putin will tell to you thanks for the help in punishment of negligent Russian officials. Thanks.

This is another peace of BS. EU is misled by a bunch of idiots with cold ware mentality. This is a self destructive action and they will learn it rather sooner then later. So high price for so little like sovereignty of Ukraine? Ukraine will remain well without so much of territory. Having nothing to loose, Russia may be driven to take more out of it.
