Detroit: Mob Beats Motorist Almost to Death After He Accidentally Hits 11 Year Old

What is wrong with the people in this country these days.......an 11 year old kid runs out in front of a man in a truck......the motorist stops and gets out to help the kid and a mob of people stomp and beat him into a coma with brain damage......he will probably die......all because someone's unattended 'child' ran out in front of his truck........and he tried to do the right thing.

One of the mob stated that "He got his". Where do you think the anger in today's society is coming from. I know Detroit is in an economic decline.......but does poverty make people do this. My parents grew up poor and never did anything like this.

 

Thankfully the Godfather "doesn't approve" of what happened to the beating victim. That's a relief. He saw what was going on, but his focus was on his God son. I wouldn't hesitate to throw down a few bucks on a bet that he was a part of the mob.

NW, I have an 7 yr old grandson and 13 yr old granddaughter and I hate the tho't of the world they're growing up into... it's gotten so violent and sick and it's going to get worse......

Poverty is no excuse for this mob mentality and the violence that erupts practically everyday. The driver got out to help the 11 yr old who ran in front of his truck and his life will never be the same - if he lives.

Respect and human decency has been fading away for some time now and truthfully, I don't see it coming back, like it used to be...

I am so glad that my family and I live in a small community. Sure, we have crime and crap going on at times, but it's nothing like it is in the cities w/incidents like this, the knock-out games, flash mobs, mall shootings, gang bangers shooting innocent people.....

And what did these rabid animals show this 11 yr old who darted out in front of the truck w/o looking? That he can just do whatever he wants to do and it's ok for a mob of psychotics to beat the hell out of someone who was trying to help him.......

You're lucky to have lived your life at a time in America when there were still areas for people to go to once their area became "culturally enriched". Pretty soon there were will be no safe place left for the people who built this country.

And I'm sure you're right. We lived in the suburbs of a large city in the Midwest, very safe, clean area and the school was only 2 blocks away & had a good reputation... but still, often big city trouble slowly moves into the suburbs.

I came out here to visit someone and fell in love w/this area b/c I'm a nature nut. Went home and told my husband I wanted to move our kids out here into a small community w/a country environment - then we got the letter from the city that our kids would be bussed into the city to a school about 15 miles away. That did it - we were GONE. No way in hell was I going to have my kids taken out of the school their dad & I wanted them to go to and bussed miles away....... I hate that busing crap!

When I was single and working, I loved the hustle and bustle of big city life, but not for raising kids in - not even in the suburbs of one.

My son & family is now back in that city, working w/his uncle and living in a suburb, but he's coming back here. Shortly after he went back, he called and said "Mom, thank you for moving us out of here when we were kids." He misses his 'family, mountains and ocean'........

I wish those parents who want it could live in a small town w/neighborhood schools and friendly neighbors....only way to raise kids.

No surprise there, sadly.

Of course, there will be no media discussion of racism, no anger or righteous indignation from the black community over this tragedy, because this wasn't an innocent little black boy with Skittles getting shot by an evil "white" Hispanic fellow in cold blood.. Naw, I'm sure this was a purely non-racist crime for many, and perhaps Whitey getting what he deserves for many others..

 

The only evidence of racism I see here is in your post. The fact you automatically assume racism just because the victim was white makes you part of the problem.

 

Flip the races and there would be riots.. Notice he got beat to (*)(*)(*)(*) for trying to help the kid.. None of them tried to help the child of course they were to busy beating the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of him. They were so concerned for the child that they stole the mans wallet during the beating...

Unless you have a convoy with police escort simply avoid the dangerous parts of the city.

 

Sad thing is both of my links were from incidents that happened hundreds of miles away in Chicago...

Hope the boys leg heals up, of course...but I'm much more concerned about the driver here. Hope he pulls through.

Whilst I recognize that there are those in this society who hate others simply for the color of their skin and do whatever they can to denigrate folks of other colors, I am not sure it is something that can be proven, or needs to be. Certainly we have racists in this country, correct? Folks, black or white, who hate other folks simply due to their being a different race.

 

we had a near incident like this in my town..... a young black child got hit by a car and the neighborhood came out on the attack.... they didn't beat the guy, because he was still in his car and actually drove down the road to safety before calling cops..... but his car took damage.


I promise, if I ever accidentally hit a black child playing in the road.... I will call 911 immediately, and keep my head on a pivot, gauging crowd reactions before I ever get out of the car. If I feel like I'm in danger, I'm driving to safety.... I'll take the hit and run

Did you not mention cherry picking? If that isn't the case then you should easily be able to bring forth evidence of such. That is what I meant. So again I state, go for it...
