Well it seems that the Obama administration and their media henchmen have been selling their constituents and the American people yet another lie.

The oft-refrained "deportations are higher under Obama than Bush" is just that. Word play and statistical lies. We've heard over and over again about how much tougher Obama is on illegal immigration, tighter borders and deportations. So much so, that some illegal alien activists have been labeling Obama the "Deporter-in-Chief".

    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/17/us/us-deportations-drop-43-percent-in-last-five-years.html?_r=0

So why are the numbers coming out of the Justice Department now and why is the NYT carrying their water?

I'll forward my guess: There's an election coming up.

Look for the administration and media to surround the Latino vote and how lenient the President has been with regard to illegal immigration and border crossings over his first five years.

Look for the media to sweep all the "tough-on-illegal-immigration" stories of the past five years under the rug.

Meet the new lies. Just as heinous as the old lies.

I actually like that we're lighter on immigrants.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson acknowledged Tuesday that his department’s deportation numbers are now mostly made up of illegal immigrants caught at the border, not just those from the interior, which means they can’t be compared one-to-one with deportations under President Bush or other prior administrations.

Previous administrations primarily counted only those caught in the interior of the U.S. by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“Under the Obama administration, more than half of those removals that were attributed to ICE are actually a result of Border Patrol arrests that wouldn’t have been counted in prior administrations,” said Rep. John Culberson, Texas Republican.

    “Correct,” Mr. Johnson confirmed
