Seems to me that they are.

More rights and power to minorities, women, gays, PC fantasists etc.. anything other than the normal indigenous white man.

so, what is the ultimate aim of the PC brigade - do they really want to just sell the UK off to the highest bidder, or perhaps to just emasculate it from within?

The problem is not Gays etc. The problem is Islam and the ultra hypocritica left that supports them

So, what will the left do about the Russians now, seeing as they are basically the paymasters?

Society is like a rubber band, when liberals stretch it too far, it'll snap and take out their eye. All across Europe, the extreme right is rising, whites are pissed off, we will not accept minority status in our own countries.

does seem that the far right is gaining in strength though, BNP seem to be getting stronger in UK, and Golden Dawn in Greece seem fairly active

I think that says more about you than it does about the UK.

There is no such thing. You've been lied to. Rights and powers in the UK are defined on a largely equal basis (other than a slight Anglican bias). Plenty of individuals and groups are biased but that pushes in all directions.

I've no idea. Why not ask the people who dreamed up the fantastical concept of the "PC brigade"? I'm sure they'll come up with some wonderful stories for you.

Political Correctness appeared under the Thatcher government - the nihilistic reality of neo-liberalism.

Quite ironic when you consider that govt's supposedly 'Tory' morality.

What utter nonsense. PC is the praxis of Frankfurt school cultural Marxism.

perhaps, but it seemed to kick in during the 80's, when the Torys ruled the roost.

And since then it has expanded - even Cameron legalised gay marriage, that's very PC - so what do you say to that?

The term originates from the US. Example of original usage: "the constitution presumes that the people are the judges of political correctness, and has accordingly left the decision to them"

Of course there is a tendency, when confronted with something that you don't agree with but without the means to construct rational comment, to moan 'it's political correctness gone made it is'
