    Here we go then- a united front, - backed by international law. The details of the unification will be good news for the Palestinian street;

    It should be borne in mind that Palestine's last venture into the politics of democracy was undermined by the Israelis who will- no doubt- try it again.

    The trick will be for the united Palestinians to remain within the bounds of international law- and to ensure that every Israeli effort to destroy their unity receives world-wide publication. They have a distinct advantage at this juncture- Palestine is now a United Nations-recognised non-member Observer State and its borders are recognised on the pre-1967 lines.

    As we all know, the Israeli tactic has always been to provoke the Palestinian's into violence and disunity as their justification to use disproportionate "retaliatory" violence of their own with the aim of prolonging the "peace process". From the perspective of the neofascists in the Knesset, "peace" will never be achieved until the point at which they have hypothetically grabbed all of Palestine. Of course, the attainment of "peace" predicated on the creation of an Israeli initiated wilderness, is not a tangible peace at all. This can only be realistically achieved as the result of an accompanying justice for the Palestinian's. But Palestinian justice is at odds with the neoZionist neofascist wet dream pertaining to the creation of the Greater Israel. In order to rein-in the neoZionist extremist fanatics and achieve their goal of a genuine lasting peace and reconciliation predicated on justice, the Palestinian's need to remain steadfast and principled against Israeli duplicity and provocation. It's an extremely tall order but I'm hopeful they can do it on the basis you outlined.

    says who?

    Hamas refuses to abide by international law.

    since when? the UNGA resolution recognizing Palestine never mentions borders.

    that means little.

    actually both Palestine and Israel ignore international law.

    it most certainly does not!!!!!!!

    nevermind the fact that the UN resolution recognizing Palestine also recognizes Israel as a Jewish State.

    Uhh... Indiscriminately shelling neighborhoods with rockets is not within the boundaries of international law. Neither is sending suicide bombers.

    knowingly firing rockets into civilian areas is illegal.

    suicide bombers against civilians is illegal.

    The Hamas death-cult is the king of violating international law, and they WILL pay for their crimes, just like the Nazis did.

    Yes, it does. Here are some relevant extracts to prove the point;

    Quite obviously, I'm right and you're...er....not.
    Let's see if we can squeeze an apology out of you.

    Not a chance. The egg-shell walking "liberal Zionist" concede? Have you ever known a neoZionist to concede on anything, ever?

    there is no UN resolution that states Palestine exists on the pre-1967 borders.

    do you know what this means?

    "contiguous State of Palestine living side by side with Israel in peace and security on the basis of the pre-1967 borders"

    that means that the future borders need not exactly follow the pre-1967 lines.

    only that the pre-1967 lines are the basis for Palestine's borders.

    and look, the UN once again makes it clear that Israel's control of West Jerusalem is perfectly fine:

    Reaffirming further its resolution 66/18 of 30 November 2011 and all relevant resolutions regarding the status of Jerusalem, bearing in mind that the annexation of East Jerusalem is not recognized by the international community, and emphasizing the need for a way to be found through negotiations to resolve the status of Jerusalem as the capital of two States,

    :)
