Boats for Land-Locked Afghanistan?

    Once again, our brilliant DOD procurement officials outdo themselves. This is like ordering skis for troops serving in SE Asia. :roll::roll:

    First thing I saw when I saw that picture was- looks like a river patrol craft.

    Second thing I thought- $3 million for 8 modified Zodiacs?

    I imagine if we looked at what we have poured into Afghanistan in the last 10 years we would end up thinking that this was one of the best purchases we made- after all - we never delivered them. We can still use them or sell them- unlike so much else we dumped there.
