Why are Hispanics counted as white in crime statistics?

What are the true numbers? Whites commit a very small number of crimes, but that is hidden in terms of statistics that are being used. Do we do this to make black people feel better? It certainly helps hispanics, they commit no crimes at all with this statistical system.

I believe they do keep data on Hispanics as well. Hispanic is a origin not a "race" they can be "black" or "white", most being considered "white".

But in general, this board is filled with bad-black/Hispanic-people threads that are subsequently inundated with "conservatives don't care about race, only bad liberals/minorities do" posts.

 

Exactly........it allows DEMS to accuse whites of all the crimes committed by Mexicans. It's part of the big white guilt power grab.

 

Conservatives who say that are being dishonest, but only because the acceptable rhetoric in this PC society pushes them in that direction. My big complaint is the double standard, why are white conservatives targeted? There are many faults in all sub groups of society, I don't think it serves any purpose to blame everything on white conservatives. I believe that white liberals are more racist than anyone.

To pad the numbers or hide them depending on your agenda. No Hispanics really aren't white. Their demographics need to be separate for accuracy. Its sort of like how Immigrants are often muddled together with Illegals to complicate the statistics...ON PURPOSE.

 

Really? So you'd rather people not know about the fact that a specific demographic that comprises 2-3% of the US population is committing 50%+ of the homicides, 55% of the robberies, and 40% of violent crime in general?

I'm sure your suggestion will be welcomed by members of the left who would love to hide some inconvenient facts about their most loyal Democrat voting bloc.

They don't keep track of Hispanics, but they are going to starting next year. It should be interesting to see which groups are committing the most crimes.

Brewskier, that is the most alarming stat of all that you just quoted. If you separate the murder statistics by blacks into the young black male category, 3% of Americans commit over half of the murders in this country. That should be the biggest headline every day in the news, but politics and the fact that white people don't want to offend black people because of the delicate psyche cause things to be buried.

 

After a while, white people get tired of being blamed for horrible crimes committed by non whites. I am surprised that it has taken us this far to wake up, and most of us are still in a coma.

 

Unfortunately, some today believe that is a racist idea.

 

What difference does it make? Justice is suppose to be blind, you do the crime you do the time.
