I bet the leftist mafia will just dismiss those people as bigoted conservative nutjobs. But I am so glad to see those messages. I'm tired of radical feminism. Many of them were cute, too. WOOHOO! Okay, what is tumblr feminism?
I don't think you guys know what feminism is. A bunch of their signs claiming they aren't feminist go on to say how they're for equal right for everyone. Women are included in everyone right? Ummmm?
Ya, I love how some people claim they're not feminists but are for equal rights...are they stupid or what? And women who claim they're not feminists but SUCK UP everything feminists achieved for them , the right to vote, the right to own property, the right to not be raped or beaten by their husbands, the right to equal pay(and the right to keep that pay and not have to hand it over to their father or husband), the right to wear pants, the right have a patent, the right to have any job they want, the right to not be sexually harassed, the right to not have a baby, the right to not be shamed because they're not married by the time they're twenty, the right to get child support if divorced, etc., are spoiled ignorant brats who need a history lesson and schooling in just what feminism is ....and quit listening to frightened misogynists who are terrified of any woman who doesn't just stay home cooking and having babies.
A lot of people need to remember that if it were not for feminists they would still be treated as property by their fathers and husbands. The very fact that they can posts these pictures stating their opinions is due to what feminists have achieved throughout history. Like any movement feminism has its radicals and for the conservatives these radicals are like a bee to honey .. they seem to think that by using abstract generalization based on the minority and aimed at all that they can demean the feminist movement over all .. thankfully most people are not stupid enough to fall for this obvious falsehood. So many of these pictures actually emphasis what feminism was, and is, about for the majority of women .. sad thing is they probably don't even realise it.
You're conflating women with feminists, when not all feminists are women and not all women are feminists. ...and feminism doesnt' stand for equal rights for everyone. For example have you ever heard of feminists complaining about the sentencing gap??? When men are convicted of crimes, they recieve a 63% greater sentence than women arrested for the same crimes. ....however have you ever heard of the, "wage gap," it's estimated to only be between 2% to 15%???? If feminism stood for equality don't you think you might hear feminists complaining about the sentencing gap. I mean it's greater than 63% and the wage gap is estimated to be at most 15% Moreover, the wage gap is not a result of discrimination but of choice and the sentencing gap can only be explained by discrimination. Estimating Gender Disparities in Federal Criminal Cases Sonja B. Starr University of Michigan Law School August 29, 2012 University of Michigan Law and Economics Research Paper, No. 12-018 Abstract: This paper assesses gender disparities in federal criminal cases. It finds large gender gaps favoring women throughout the sentence length distribution (averaging over 60%), conditional on arrest offense, criminal history, and other pre-charge observables. Female arrestees are also significantly likelier to avoid charges and convictions entirely, and twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted. Prior studies have reported much smaller sentence gaps because they have ignored the role of charging, plea-bargaining, and sentencing fact-finding in producing sentences. Most studies control for endogenous severity measures that result from these earlier discretionary processes and use samples that have been winnowed by them. I avoid these problems by using a linked dataset tracing cases from arrest through sentencing. Using decomposition methods, I show that most sentence disparity arises from decisions at the earlier stages, and use the rich data to investigate causal theories for these gender gaps. http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2144002
The main difference between women for equality and feminists is a basic hatred of the male species. That's the reason I left the feminist movement in the 80s... Their goal is the wussification of the American male. Listening to some of the whiney males on this forum, I'd say they've been marginally successful.
There are now feminists out there, some of them apparently from mainstream organisations, that advocate to ban pornography, ban prostitution, ban anti-feminism, ban DNA paternity testing and open a discussion about presumption of innocence when it comes to accusations of rape (I (*)(*)(*)(*) you not). Feminism has achieved most of its legitimate goals decades ago, what remains is a strange extremist caricature of once proud movement, #killallmen style. Widespread internet access giving the crazies place to mutualy validate their views and spread them around didnt help things either. Not all of them are this way, but its enough to make me wary of the movement at large.
And those who think all feminists are man -haters who believe in female supremacy obviously aren't interested in logic and common sense possessing none themselves. Why they flaunt their ignorance of what "feminist" means and their ignorance of the fact that all movements have some extremists is a mystery. I think they're just very bitter because they may have to treat women as human beings....
that is true for pretty much any organization. While there are certainly radical elements in feminism, for the most, the majority of people recognise this radical element and basically ignore it. I have found from experience that it is only the people who want to obliterate anything to do with feminism who cherry pick these articles etc in order to project them as the 'norm', exactly the same is true of those against same-sex marriage and homosexuality as a whole .. evidence of that is plentiful in this very forum.
comprehension problem I see, or did you just jump to a conclusion based on what you wanted to see. so as you can now, hopefully, see I never said religious organizations hate men.
Instead of presuming anything why didn't you ask? You know like "What type of thing(s) are you referring to"
so yet again you make an assumption without proof, pretty standard from you as most of your comments show.
