    Silly!
What Breibart is talking about is the U6 employment rate. . .which is NOT 18%, but was down to 12% in August 2014 (the lowest since BEFORE President Obama was elected!).
The 6.1% relates to U3, which does NOT include "partially attached workers" or other underemployed workers.

It seems that Breitbart is counting on some of his readers being too dumb to understand the differences!
By the way "foreign born workers" also include people who have been naturalized US Citizens most of their life. . . .Like several of our senators and congressmen!

18%? It is actually between 25-30%, and underemployment is about 60%. Roughly only 40% of Americans are full-time employees. About half are foreign, and God knows if they're actually legal.
That said, I would like to say that seasonal work drops unemployment to about 15% (namely for the holiday months Oct-Jan). Summer jobs (like cannery work) to some degree, but not as much.

And the latest statistics are even worse with far fewer newly employed than ever.

166,000 more jobs for the millions of unemployed?
