Actually, that's kinda where my nickname comes from but the crux of the story is my last name - I'm hopelessly Polish and my last name is a catastrophe. 8 letters, 1 vowel. It's kinda sounds like "sweetchuck", hence an old friend coined the nickname a long time ago.
Thanks for the cordial welcome too, everyone. Dumb newbie question - is cussing frowned upon here? I can't tell from the rules and the ongoing dialogue, it looks like stuff might be filtered and if so, can that be turned off? Just trying to maximize my PF experience.
I'm no official here, but I can tell you there is a pretty strong profanity filter and you can get in trouble for trying to bypass it... like saying 'you b*tch'. I think it's outlined in the rules... might wanna ck those out.

ok - I'm going to keep looking around for a better forum. This one's... ok, I'm looking for something fantastic. Volume here is good but the word filter is too kindergarten. Member mix here is average too. Lot of fluff and noise with a handful of bright and/or charismatic individuals. I hope my comments are taken constructively. Maybe I'll pop in every now and then, who knows.
