Obama is always on the wrong side of history (e.g. just look at his support of the Ferguson thugs and his Obamacare programme, which keeps those entitlement-seeking thugs healthy enough to keep rioting). I therefore reluctantly back Mr Putin and his crew.
Conservatives should support Russia and President Putin in his effort to liberate eastern Ukraine from the European Union's (EU) mob of heathens, socialists, and hippies in western Ukraine. American conservatives do not realize that Russia has evolved into a capitalist, Christian, conservative nation. It is no longer the United Soviet Socialists Republic (USSR).

As a general rule, one should work against Russia whenever one can. It doesn't matter the situation, it doesn't matter who's right or wrong. Do everything you can to weaken Russia. I'm not entirely sure exactly who the people fighting against the russians in ukraine are, but I quite frankly don't care because I know who the Russians are. And the Russians are my enemy, and my enemy's enemy is my friend. Poll: Who should the civilized world support? I could not vote in your extremely one sided poll. The "civilized" world should stay out of the whole mess....recognize the deceit and aggression for what it is....and allow the aggressors to fade into the "Uncivilized" label while avoiding all contact economically and diplomatically.
Wait a moment, pay attention that reading the OP we can get the impression that nor America neither Russia are part of this "civilized world" ... Is it only our beloved deeply educated and culturally advanced European Union? - - - Updated - - - So that pro-Russia freedom fighters can be heroic, but sure they are uncivilized [at least I infer this from the OP!].
This is hardly an issue for American resources; financially, militarily, or even diplomatically. Leave it to the Russians, we have enough on our plates now. We don't know what Russia's full agenda, and with Syria and ISIS in the wings we hardly need a problem the Europeans can handle themselves...
I have to agree. I've talked to Ukrainian immigrants over here and the only thing the Ukrainians agree on vis-à-vis themselves, the Byelorussians and the Muscovite Russians is that they are all Russians and this is a Russian problem. We should leave them alone. The only thing that will happen if we get involved is that BOTH sides will turn on us. This is truly what the War Nerd called the Perfect War, one where we can hate BOTH sides. No civilized nation should ever support either side in a war. War is by definition uncivilized.
I agree with your assessment to a degree. There are a few of us 'civilized' people in those 'pockets' and a few us us still searching out 'pockets'. (if you have directions to one, please advise ASAP. I can't hold out much longer). I'm already beginning to form an opinion on the posted subject. I fear that it won't be long before I have one.
