What ever happened to the values of Brittania?

 

Tolerance (along with basic human decency)has been a a 'value' of 'Brittania' for a very long time, thankfully - long may it continue.

 

Tolerance is fine, but pandering to every minority interest on the planet is just pathetic - and look at the country now, on the verge of splitting in two due to this feeble pandering

 

'The country' isn't in danger of splitting in two. Two 'countries' that have been together in a union are potentially going their own separate ways. That's a completely different thing.

 

so what will happen to the 'British' Army , nukes, debt etc.... do you mean the Scots will depend on France instead now - lol, WW2 ring a bell??

 

Scotland will have its own small armed forces. The UK's nuclear weapons will move to somewhere other than Scotland, but will still exist, as will the British Armed Forces (but without the Scottish regiments). Scotland will almost certainly join NATO. Both of the close friends, allies and neighbours will work together on defence whenever they agree that it is in their interests to do so, which it usually will be since they share an island. Either will also be able to use their armed forces individually, as they see fit.

 

So Scotland will not be a nuclear power then - ok, but what happens when the Islamo-fascists want to take the place over - who's gonna bail them out?

 

That's simple.

There are no 'Islamo-fascists' trying to take them over, so it doesn't apply. There are also no lizard people secretly running the world, or world Jewish plots to run everything, or messages beamed from space that require tin foil hats to be distributed to the population to protect them. Real world considerations and decisions are thankfully not made on the basis of such paranoid and/or bigoted nonsense.

 

Not now, but in the near future we could easily have a vast Islamic Caliphate, and agressive China or even a fascist USA/EU.

Presumably it would be too engaged in trying to address the problem of all the flying pigs that would be around if that happens to be much of a problem to anyone anyway.

Then neighbouring countries - close friends and allies who used to be a part of a union - would obviously find it totally impossible to pool their resources and work together, of course. In fact, no allies can ever work together militarily - so many wars prove that. We'd all be doomed.

Yeah and in a year or two or ten, Aliens could have arrived and taken over the entire planet. Try to live in the present. What if's, could happen's and maybe's don't solve very much

Why should we tolerate those who follow a religion that makes women wear face coverings, prevents schoolgirls from studying, etc etc... or do you actually agree with this oppression of women?

 

Many Muslim women are educated, among them doctors and nurses, teachers and lawyers. SOme are now entering politics. Not all wear the veil. Do not judge the many by the few.

 

Then the Muslims will have easy pickings. In other words population reduction, or an issue taking care of another issue. That shoulod make you happy. Population self-reduction is a good thing for you isn't it?

 

Don't worry. There should be no need for deportations. Many British Muslims find the Islamic State very attractive and intend to leave all by themselves. If only Cameron wouldn't be taking part in the coalition to destroy the Islamic State maybe Muslim immigration would get reversed all by itself.

 

I think it could be argued that the resurgence of Scottish Nationalism was most influence by Margaret Thatchers policies of the 80s. No one would suggest she was either liberal or pandered to minority interest.

 

The same thing that's happening to the U.S . We became OVER civilized.

 

That may be true , but she's long gone now.

Leaving the UK will just aid big business at the expense of the workers of Scotland - far more damaging than anything Maggie ever did.
