    Birth of democracy in China?...
    :confusion:
Struggle in HK may unleash democracy
Thu, Oct 30, 2014 - A month ago, Hong Kong residents launched the Occupy Central movement in their quest for universal suffrage in the 2017 elections. Although there has been dialogue between the territory’s government and student representatives, agreement has been elusive and it almost seems as if the civil protest movement and the occupation of Hong Kong’s streets could become permanent.

I don't mean to sound picky, however your title says "Hong Kong Police beaten". . . . This to me at a quick glance says that Hong Kong police were put down. After reading further I find this is not the case.

    It should say:

Hong Kong Police beat a protester for Four Minutes in a dark Corner.
    Or:
Hong Kong Police caught on video beating a protester for Four Minutes in a dark Corner.

If English is not your first language I certainly understand discrepancies. However, if that is the case, make it simple enough so there is no question that the reader will do exactly as I did, which is to think otherwise.

This may sound trivial to some, but if you are reporting major world events and want to make a point . . .get it right.

Perhaps you should get Uncle Ferd to wait below the palace window of the princess for the silk ball, only then can you get the "birth" of democracy in China later on. :clapping:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/humor-satire/376313-agongs-fairy-tales.html

Fat hope. Most likely another Tiananmen Incident.

It looks like Granny and others are praying hard for the so-called "butterfly effect" (a better term is "domino effect") to happen. Let Grandpa say a few words here.

If that happens, it will be a replay of the Chinese calamity and tragedy of the past few centuries on a scale of a thousand times.

If that happens, it will be a 1000 times magnification of the Syrian civil war, with Chinese refugees flooding the whole world. Then your hypocritical Uncle Sam, who has been busy propagating his so-called democracy and freedom all this while, would rush to build the Great Wall of America Secure Fence to keep out all the Chinese refugees, just as he has been busy building the Great Wall of Mexico Secure Fence to keep out those Mexicans who are trying to get into the US in pursuit of democracy and freedom.

Anyway, when we stare into the faces of Chinese leaders, we seem to stare into the faces of statues of Chinese gods. They look expressionless and inscrutable, like living in a world of their own or somewhere inside the Forbidden City, oblivious of the happenings around them. Will their continued ignorance of the social upheaval in Hong Kong turn out to be a tragedy for them, for the people and for the country? Only time can tell.

Umbrella revolution has last for 42 days, demonstrators start learning to make DIY shield, to defense themselves from the possible violent action of HK police. also they are trying to learn from the training of foreign militia. Thanks Youtube, and thank god we still have a free internet world.

Those still have quite lot of Hong Kong people think that it's not necessary to be this serious. They are too naive to face the reality, they underestimate their enemy

the following axxhole cop threaten a female protester that if she not shut up then he will take her to police station and rape her.

(yet the pro-govt media (actually means all main stream local media) only focus on the group of protesters attacked that cop, in fact, those protesters had heard he threatened a girl like that so they were very angry and attacked him, then the suck cop pretended to lock-up, but when other people tried to take his cop pass he woke up suddenly.)

and I will so appreciate if you do me a little favor, to share this all over the world!

let the world know, the level of the deterioration of Hong Kong police after they take out the "Royal" title.

Why don't you upload video of assaulting a police officer came up?
Why don't we also went to look for a group of people to your door close to the pursuit of freedom and democracy?
Hong Kong's legal system has been tread out, what a shame.
