Swastikas Deface Temple Mount after Incitement by Abbas

Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site, were greeted with hate graffiti and swastikas on Sunday morning, following PA Chair Abbas’ incitement over the weekend.

Swastikas alongside the Star of David, the ancient Jewish symbol, greeted visitors to the Temple Mount – Judaism’s holiest site – on Sunday morning, following incitement on Friday by Palestinian Authority Chair Mahmoud Abbas, who stated that Jews should be prohibited from visiting the compound.

Abbas called on Palestinians living in east Jerusalem to maintain a large presence on the Mount in order to resist the “fierce onslaught” of Jewish visitors.Meyer Beck, a freelance photographer for United with Israel and a regular visitor to the site, was “appalled that at our most sanctified place, I would have to be exposed to abhorrent hate graffiti. I come to the closest place for man to approach God and here I have this barrier to my prayers. Who is protecting Har Habayit (the Hebrew name for the site)?”

In the Tample Mount, Jews cant enter there, it is a place where you can find only arabs. When Jews enter the Tample Mount it has been done with the army, and even then the Arabs trying to kick them out of there.

BTW- not long ago, several days ago, at the time that this case ocourd it was also a Jewish cemetery was burning and tombs got out of their places, was it happening by Jews? Ivery very doubted it!

Jews are not allowed on the Temple Mount, since I cannot imagine a Muslim desecrating such a holy place with the Israeli Star, or a genuine religious Jew desecrating the Temple Mount with a Swastika, my best guess is either an atheist or a Christian End of Days nutter. Trying to hurry along the Apocalypse.

Jews cannot enter the Temple Mount because the Chief Rabbis of Israel say so, confirmed in December 2013.
BTW, a Rabbi had his car bombed in Manchester UK not long ago , Police believe it is another Zionist terrorist attack.

The Chief Rabbis of Israel forrbided Jewish presence at the Tample Mount because they seemed to believe the Divine prasence is still existing at the spot, and they resoned that forbiden after they were following Maimonides' view.
Stil Jewish presence at the Mount is dangerous, if we take asaide what the Chief Rabbies of Israel said.

There were excavitions that archeaologists wanted to do in the Mount but police rejected them.

Are you talking about this case?

If so, so it is a reasonble assumption that Jews attacked the Rabbi's car, because the Rabbi is known about his anti-Israel view. I'm not soppurting that! I never did, the Jews that did that attack, if eventually it will be proven, need to be in jail.

My original point I was trying to make was that it is just as unlikely that a muslim would put a star of david on a muslim place of worship as a religious Jew would put a swastika on a Jewish place of worship. Similarly I cannot thing a religious jew would attack a Rabi. It will be a secular Jew or a Christian Zionist who has dome both, IMHO

So if a religious Jew wouldnt attack a rabi and only secular one, so a secular Muslim could compare star of david to Nazi simbol. BUT as we can see what happen in Gaza, ,in Gaza extermists rule there, not secular people! extremists Muslims attack and try to kill Jews, those people compare Jews as Nazis. so logiclly a religious Muslim could compare star of david to Nazi simbolm and the fact that Jews enter the Mount only with police or army can only rainforce that thye couldnt paint that thing! because if they did it the army or the police would stop them before they would finish painting.

    Yes... that's true.

What part of the "Temple Mount" did they deface? There hasn't been any Jewish buildings there 2000 years,

the entire Temple Mount was built by King Herod of Judea

there are many Jewish structures under the main floor, from 2,000 years ago.

The Solomon Stables area, just below that Temple Mount, should be given to the Jews as a holy place for them to worship within the Temple Mount area.

That would avoid clashes between Jews and Muslims.

The Solomon stable area was dug out to widen the space of Muslim worshipers. the dig and the Jewish artifacts found were hammered to a pulp to erase any Jewish connection to the Temple Mount.

Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were liberated from the Jordanian army and Gen. Moshe Dayan in his shortsightedness gave the Temple Mount to the WAKF... Dayan as a Socialist and non religious Jew explained after the give away that he was not interested to have a Jewish Vatican on the Temple Mount. If it was not for Dayan... things would have looked different today... It is still time to reverse what Moshe Dayan had orchestrated in his stupid benevolence..

They were not liberated, you do not liberate somewhere from people who have lived there for over a thousand years.

Jews are banned from the Temple Mount by other Jews, there is a religious minority who are arguing against this. They lost the vote in parliament so are trying to provoke a incident at the Temple Mount. There is no compromise with these people, they do not care as long as they get everything there way. I wonder from your signature and the things you say, if you are one of these HBendor?

Solomon's stables are at Megiddo and they were built during the reign of King Omri.

Megiddo is first mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 12:21. At the time the city was inhabited by Canaanites.

The city later came under the control of King Solomon, though there is some controversy as to how much of a connection he had to the remains that have been discovered.

The Israelite connection to the city ended around 732 B.C.E. when the Assyrians conquered Palestine.

Because you are not local you are mixing apples and oranges... I suggest some more reading.
This area will be cleared someday soon and Jewish ownership restored... You should be proud to have ALL the Muslim returning to Mecca to hone knifes and cut limbs and sever heads... Islam is a scourge on the rest of humanity!

Solomon's Stables is under the Temple Mount and now used as a Muslim prayer hall.

the Jews came back and ruled the area again after their first exile.

they ruled it until the Romans came into Palestine and then ended Jewish rule in AD 135
