A strange and improfessional acting of canadian police and guards of the parliament. If the press is right and a military was wounded at the memorial and after that there were 30 shots more. I mean even the US cinema guards managed to catch the shooters in the sad events much faster. But that is a cinema, and there we have a parliament!
So far that's all the opinion I can have for the moment. For there are no details.

 

A soldier has been shot at Canada's National War Memorial and there are reports of active gunfire inside the halls of Canada's Parliament Building.

Conflicting reports say there were two suspects, with one having been shot in the Parliament Building and one who got away.

Police have locked down the entire downtown core of the city as they say there is still an active shooter the area.

Nope. Not with the media hiding in a room with no windows, and everyone else cowering under desks.

 

sick how you want to turn this into a gun-control debate.

 

I hope that they catch those responsible and bring them to justice without any further bloodshed.

Wow it's coming out that there are many gunmen at multiple places. Sure hope they are prepared to respond. What a horrible tragedy. These gunmen must be stopped.

 

What's SICK is that no Canadian Citizen can be trusted to participate in the defense of his own country and kin, in his own neighborhood.

As more facts come out about this case, I predict this will quickly turn to be a debate about religion, and not about guns.

 

Did I say it was? I said that NO Canadian Citizen can be trusted by his own Gov. with enough power to protect himself, his children, and his Gov., even when there is an internal attack.

 

Ottawa police say they are investigating three shooting incidents in Ottawa, including on Parliament Hill, at the National War Memorial, and near the Rideau Centre Mall.
