POLL: Should we rescue Iran's women?

A heroic Iranian woman, who rightly executed an Iranian intelligence operative who tried to rape her, has been murdered by the Iranian state. She was hung.

As an Israeli, I feel for this heroic women who valiantly defended herself against an Islamic Terrorist.

What should we do, in order to avenge the murder of this heroic Iranian woman?

The USA is our strongest ally and a global leader, and should lead the way against Iran.

Considering that generally, under a dictatorship [also a theocracy like the Iranian one], the common people is involved only in part [I talk also on the historical base of Italian Fascism, in any case a sector of the population cooperated with the regime, but it was a minority] I would prefer to avoid the usage of nukes.

Absolutely better, in case of conflict, the usage of drones to eliminate the leadership of the dictatorial system, trusting the young generation to make a new revolution in the country [they already tried with the green movement].

 

I am of the opinion that there is nowhere in the Middle East worth intervention...this entire region is so backward by western standards as to be shunned. There has yet to be a situation the western world stepped into that has worked out well in the long run, and it is unlikely there ever will be. Islam inherently prevents the growth of these cultures beyond middle ages mentality, and women will never be free because of it.

Thus....I cannot vote in this poll, as the options are obviously more a statement than a question.

It is true that somebody ought to do something about this. The Iranian people should rise up and overthrow their leaders. Unfortunately, our idiotic saber rattling has so firmly ensconced these madmen in power that I doubt any revolutionary movement could survive for more than 5 minutes before they were denounced as an American plot and all rights would be further severely curtailed again.

We should do nothing....we are not responsible for all the wrongs in the world and if we nuked every country that treated women like second class non-citizens there wouldn't be anyone left including the US.

I could not vote either, for I do not believe in interfering in muslim culture, no more than I would put up with them interfering in my own culture, in order to save us from our immorality, or what they see as our Sodom and gormorah mentality.

Iran has the right to their own culture. If the people at some point want to change that culture, they will change it. But for an outside source to attempt to chance culture is an exercise in stupidity. We have done innumerable acts of stupidity in the middle east, and learned nothing in the process, which is an illustration of just how stupid America has become.

I would defend Israel in a heartbeat, from a muslim military invasion, if they asked for help. I have no quarrel with that. Israel is surrounded by an 8th century culture, which is barbaric, not civilized in the modern sense, and who hates Israel. But stirring up trouble in Iran is no solution to anything. Why poke the wild boar to make it angry, when you can just walk away? And let wild boars be wild boars. If they impose themselves upon your lands, you deal with that when it happens. And then you have the moral high ground.

 

No, the better thing to do is for the world to rescue black American men from police crimes and public executions the way they are suffering today on the streets of the USA.

If you want to play hero, don't wait for the American taxpayers to bail you out - go ahead and do your own fighting.

 

I am disappointed by the responses to this excellent thread.

The Democrats are a lost cause, so Israel and our Capitol Hill lobby will have to wait for a GOP government before the USA finally comes to its senses and attacks Iran.
