Jesus was Paul's golden calf creation. Just as Aaron made the original golden calf to give people something to worship so Paul also created the Jesus character for the same reason. People stopped worshiping Aaron's golden calf but they still love to worship Paul's Jesus creation.

isn't it a commonly known and widely accepted fact that paul's jesus was an hallucination (probably resulting from walking all day in the hot sun)? if the whole blessed thing is based on one old boy's funny turn/hallucination, I would think it doesn't even fit the descriptor 'myth'.
The basic story is the New Testament is essentially that same one that's in the Old Testament. If you read them with a critical eye you will see that.

Explain to me how one would recognize a story without remembrance of it and then I'll be happy to answer that question.
that's the oddest logic I've seen this week seriously, why do we 'remember' any of the thousands of mythical beings and people? because they become oral (or literary) traditions, handed on through generations.
If you reread the post, you will find I didn't say that I remember "stories" of mickey mouse but i can't remember a ficticious character. he is not real.
you can't remember mickey mouse? how about Donald duck? how about satan? how about Vishnu? to be honest I really don't understand what you're trying to suggest here. are you saying that because we have an oral/literary tradition of a middle eastern god and his alleged offspring, this makes it somehow unique? if you are saying that, what is the mechanism for uniqueness, since we have oral/literary traditions of thousands of other 'not real' and 'real' characters. please explain WHY and HOW jesus is different to all the others.
