Watching the DVD "America: Imagine the World Without Her" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2785390/ Excellent movie. I don't agree with everything in it such as the assertion the Civil War was to free the slaves, but overall it's an excellent movie and very well balanced albeit leaning right.
We Canadians would sure be bored because if we only had Canadian made TV, movies and books………………… uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Scary thought!
How would you know? It seems like the majority of TV shows I watch are filmed in Canada, with Canadian actors, all pretending to be American. Apparently Vancouver can look just like Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Miami.

I recently read a book by near death experiencer Mrs. Ariela Solsol. Her NDE in 1967 included visions of a future..... where America had been knocked out as the policeman of the world............... and the earth became much like some sort of dark age vision of hell or purgatory! The world became dominated by an Islamic - Communist movement....... and absolute hell on earth was unleashed........ as criminals took over in pretty much all nations!
Two reasons: More subsidies and Vancouver has a lot more overcast days, which makes it better for filming outside than sunny days in sunny locations. As for a world without America, I am guessing there would be a lot more Injuns.

So far as I know they sound about right. As for Leonard Peltier, he murdered 2 FBI agents....he should be in prison.
You could well have the wisest answer to this........ I personally don't know what to do..... but some of those who want him released have presented a case that has been making me ask questions and wonder about the possibility.
Nothing wrong with asking questions. When people kill people, however, I find it much easier to jump to my answer.
Yes..... keeping them in prison is a whole lot less expensive than the legal wrangling involved in attempting to enforce the death penalty!
Even if it is not a capital case, killing someone won't get you much sympathy from me. I can be all for your cause but if you take a life, see ya.
