    An Arab appeasement stunt this is. The Sweden is in sea of hurt with arabs rioting almost daily, with cities like Malmö fastly becoming a no-go zones for police and non-arabs. So, Sweden recognized Palestine? Big (*)(*)(*)(*)ing Deal! They do not know what they doing, what can of worms they're opening...

    Sweden gave sanctuary to many Jews during WW2 ... and for that they shot Count Bernadotte down like a dog in the street.

    You are right .. it was the Danish King.. Sweden saved over 30,000 Jews from the Holocaust thanks to Count Bernadotte.

    Gad...I guess you missed the thread about how Sweden aided and abetted the Nazis in WWII. Didn't Germany and the Grand Mufti try to exterminate the Jews? You don't have to answer. It's a rhetorical question. And now they are aiding and abetting a terrorist group that was democratically ELECTED by the Palestinians to speak for them and what they say is, "Israel must be exterminated." Nice going Sweden with your king with the "yellow star." Very sensitive move... When you recognize a Palestinian state, you recognize HAMAS...capische?

    Sweden was officially neutral in World War II. It did allow the Wehrmacht to use Swedish railroads to transport troops from Norway to Finland, but it also supplied the Allies with military information and served as a refuge for Jews and anti-fascists.

    Sweden joins Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Romania, Cyprus, Bulgaria, in reconizing the State of Palestine.

    that's almost 50% of European nations.

    ... Israel now called home their Ambassador and are considering a permanent down-ranking of their relationship with Sweden. Great move from a few week old swedish government who might only done this because they lack the majority in parliament to handle any local affairs. Not to mention the two parties in power doesn't even agree on several key issues.

    Oh well. I'm sure it's good to have less friends in the world now that Russia started breaching our boarders on a monthly basis.

    You still don't know anything about Sweden or the Mufti.. Sweden sheltered over 30,000 foreign Jews and protected the from the Holocaust.

    Yes.. Danish Jews sheltered in Sweden even though Jews in Denmark were never forced to wear yellow stars on their clothing.
