is the sentence correct ?- "please donate 1 buck for protecting dogs". do you have a better way to say it.
First of all it should bee ... - An English question -. And if this WAS a spelling Bee,you still are disqualified due to age constraint. Like the movie - Bad Words - {2013}
Good for you, you were the first to actually answer the question and the correct spelling is "add" not "ad".
Is this something you say at work? I'm glad you asked. "Would you like to donate a dollar to a charity that helps ___________ dogs"? I would insert the issue as in, "sick", or "sheltered"...etc. Good luck, thanks for asking us
Autocorrect got me there. I frequently use the abbreviation " ad" for advertisements in text/emails so my phone and tablet both default to it.
That does get annoying here, I have noticed several times it has changed my words and corrected the word in the wrong way, I do not need help making typos and the such, I am already very skilled in that area.
I have exactly the same issue sir. It's even worse on the phone. I have what my son calls "fat finger syndrome" which refers not to the size but the accuracy of you fingers.
Horrendous corruption of the English language in both content and thread title. Please donate one dollar for the protection of dogs. Please donate $1 to the ASPCA for our dog protection program. Gimme a freakin' buck or I'm gonna off the Dog!
