After watching my pathetic Rebel performance last night, I give up on college football. However, it's nothing new to be a disappointed Ole Miss fan. Happens every year.
Our defense is amazing, one of the best in the nation. Even though they scored a bunch last night, they made GREAT plays. Bo Wallace just gave the 'backs great field position with every turnover. Bo Wallace's 5 turnovers lost that game.
I sat in Tallahassee in a steady downpour..... Holy crap, it was miserable. It wasn't cold at least, but we were soaked to the bone. Danny kannell was debating Finebaum today at 9am.... the best point he made was Finebaum said "FSU struggled against another weak opponent..." Kannell asked "Why is it that Arkansas is being hailed as the best thing since sliced bread in the SEC and dangerous, when their 6-5 record is exactly the same as Boston College's 6-5 record." lol The other thing was, Kannell, even though he's an FSU boy, he was asked "if they played this weekend, who would win? Bama or FSU? Kannell said Bama. Finebaum, trying to win a point, said "we agree, there is no way Bama loses to FSU" Kannell interrupted again and said.... "we both know how it would end.... FSU would go down by 21 at half and find a way to still win the game, though" My top 6 1. FSU 2. Bama 3. Oregon 4. I have to take a Ohio state if they win out, vs a co-big xII champ winning out. Now that it's GT vs FSU in the ACC championship... I have to out loud, cheer for GA to beat GT this weekend because my wife is a Bulldogs fan. But secretly, I will be pulling for GT to win to stay in the top 25..... while it takes 4 losses for an SEC team to drop out of the top 25, it only takes 3 for anyone else. Notre Dame has completely wrote off this season.... Louisville not looking as bad as everyone that hates FSU wants them to be I predict the Committee will rank them in the following order.... 1. Bama 2. Oregon 3. Miss State (because beating Vandy like they were Ray Rice is apparenlty 'impressive' for some reason) 4. FSU
I wonder how many more losses Ole Miss can give out and still be considered a quality loss for Bama..... ... and let the record show... FSU signed Ole miss to Open up the season in 17 when Ole Miss was still actually relevant...
So, can the best football team in the ACC handle the pressure of playing one of the worst teams in the worst division of the SEC? A team so bad that they fired their HC in mid-season? We shall see. Muschamp's coming...
one of the worst? LSU has more losses than UF.... as in every game at this point prior to the playoffs.... i have to delete facebook if/when we lose. One thing I do different next season, no matter how we finish this season.... is back off on the smack talk.... it's tough to cheer for a team that doesn't get multiple chances at the title like Bama does. FSU only gets one shot and it has to be perfect.
I rank it just higher than squeaking past the vaunted 6 loss razorbacks, by 1 or giving up 44 to a 4 loss team.... lol
