Odell Beckham Jr., NY Giants. This will go down in history as the best catch ever.
I saw it live last night and could not believe my eyes. He caught that ball at full stretch, backwards to the goal line, and with only 3 fingers (2 fingers and thumb). It was amazing.
Great catch but still no win for the Jints. What's worse - the Cowboys got more cheers than they did.
Not even the greatest of all time. There's the "immaculate reception", Lynn Swanns stretched out catch over the fallen defender, hell, even the catch was a better play. It it was a hell of a catch, but not the greatest of all time. Edit: Immaculate Reception:
Id have to agree. The helmet catch in the Super Bowl, this one, and many others I've personally seen(Cowboys fan, so I see em twice a year against my boys, and their games are usually on here in Dallas(12 out of 16 or so) along with the Redskins and Eagles) where he just throws it up for grabs and the receiver makes a play. Now his TD throw to Plaxico after the helmet catch was a beauty.
Question... why are you pulling up threads from 2013/2014 and bumping them with 3 or 4 word responses ? There are over a dozen on the front page alone. There is no prize for "most threads participated in".
Plaxico's catch the greatest of all time. It stopped the Cheatriots" from obtaining perfection and humiliated Tom Brady.
I agree. In order to be one of the greatest plays of all time, it needs to be an incredible play made in a high pressure, championship game. - - - Updated - - - You mean David Tyree's catch on the top of his helmet?
The greatest reception I ever saw wasn't even a catch - a Bears player completely missed the ball and it got stuck in his helmet hahaha - then he couldn't get it out and couldn't see where he was going haha. Of course the defense was trying to swat the ball out and it looked like he was being (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) slapped by half a football team and the ball didn't come out - it was pretty amusing...
