MANILA, Philippines (AP) — Philippine government prosecutors charged a U.S. Marine with murder Monday in the killing of a Filipino, saying the suspect acknowledged attacking the victim after he found out she was a transgender woman.

What happened to Marines carrying on with respect for the uniform and taking responsibility for their actions. And being drunk is not justification for murdering someone he paid money to for sex.

Frist of all, there is innocent until proven guilty.

Second of all, there are bad apples or people that do the wrong thing at times in ALL branches of the military. Think about it, if EVERYONE did as the right thing all the time, there would be NO court martials or article 15s.

However, this even if this person is guilty, this ONE person hardly represents the entirety of the Marines or their code of conduct.
