One "good" thing about white racists that I've noticed...

is how OLD most of them are. Atleast in their 50s or older, but averaging (purely anecdotally from encounters on blogs) in their 60s or older.

True there are still a few younger ones....but apparently ethically or reproductively, they are a dying species.

One thing that might account for it is that the last generation of whites who spent atleast some of their childhood in a world of segregated schools and free use of the N-word by their parents, even themselves.....is passing into its seniority.

And has few replacements.

 

And that's the biggest problem for the far right wing social conservatives.

If they can't get enough of the younger white generation to buy into their "white race is the master race" garbage, then their ideology eventually fades away into oblivion.

And as you said, most young white people don't really give a crap about skin color, or gay people getting married, so they are SOL.

 

And they are ALL members of the Democrat Party.

As for racism, it's pretty hard for rightwingers under 50 who grew up in integrated schools to hate minorities. The older ones who had segregation still pine for it...as they pine for their childhood anyway.

Sure there are always a few young punk skinheads or some loser who blames his failed life (even if only 35-40) on "damn blacks and Latinos stealing GOOD jobs from guys like me".....but they are ignorable....

and most of them end up cooking crystal meth in their trailer with a Confederate flag tacked to the side....and get busted by the DEA and end up the "wife" of a 300 lbs Aryan Brotherhood boss in Federal pen.

Yes, I notice this is a common trend for most of the forum right wingers.

You usually hear them talk about the "good ole days" of all white schools, and all white neighborhoods, and how great their lives were before the EVIL minorities ruined them.

So I think you are correct that most of the racists are usually over the age of 50, while the younger ones tend to be more open to interracial marriage and gay marriage.

 

I'm sceptical of the theory that racist people belong to older generations who lived through the 1940s and 1950s and there are certain elements of racism in every generation. Speaking from my experience in Australia, younger Aussies are more violently or openly racist against minorities perhaps because of their high adrenaline levels (i.e. bus attacks), while senior Aussies generally know how to behave themselves to avoid getting into trouble, despite the fact that the White Australia Policy was still active in their younger days.

 

Blacks are likewise talking about the good old days of all black schools and a black family unit that wasn't destroyed by the LIBERAL DEMOCRAT WELFARE STATE. Blacks are nostalgic about the days when they could walk out on their front lawn without getting cut down by a drive by bullet from a gang-banger, COURTESY OF THE LIBERAL DEMOCRAT WELFARE STATE.

Only LIBERALS believed that blacks were SO inferior that they couldn't achieve in an all black school and that they should be seated next to a superior master race whitey, at a school they had to be bussed across town to attend.

No, it's bad to be racist because racism is morally wrong.

 

I'm pretty sure believing certain racial groups of humanity are naturally inferior or subhuman qualifies as irrational, dehumanizing, and therefore morally reprehensible. It will always be a moral or ideological flaw in my book.

 

The irony here is white racists created the Constitution to define free free speech so that some people can go on expressing their ignorance about white racism.
