Liberal billionaire gave at least $33 million in one year to groups that emboldened activists

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jan/14/george-soros-funds-ferguson-protests-hopes-to-spur/

He is likely responsible for most if not all the other protests through out the country and if true should he not be liable for any deaths, injuries or destruction they cause?
Sure would be nice to see him arrested for inciting riots and ALL his assets ceased to pay for all costs surrounding them

HA HA HA, i knew it, normal people will never protest about few deaths of people which were guilty, for free. Protests always sponsored by somebody and this protest as we can see is no exception!

Any time a liberal accuses you of something, you can be sure that's because it's exactly what they are up to. Look around at them screaming about how the economy is rigged, and the rich have too much influence. Of course liberals influence politics using mountains of cash.

“People rail that democracy has been subverted to powerful economic interests, that ‘we the people’ have been overlooked. Based on what I have seen over the last several years, I fear there’s some truth in that charge, and that scares me—badly.” Tom Steyer

I don't think anyone is arguing he shouldn't be able to use his money to organize activists (I'm not because, it's been entertaining watching Soros pour his fortune into lost causes) but, instead, some are asking if he should be held liable for the harm caused by activism that likely would not have occurred had he not subsidized it.

Of course that can only be answered with evidence that he directed people to break the law, which is never going to be produced.

Civil liability and criminal culpability are two different things. Just ask O.J. Simpson.

Why is this a problem? I think the protests across the US are working by bringing attention to police brutality and racism.

You would have thought he got that out of his system during WWII.

The ends justify the means, right Alinsky? Bringing attention to police brutality and racism (which had nothing to do with Mike Brown getting murked) by burning down gas stations and looting weave shops....hahahahahah

You seem to be unaware of the fact that there's a difference between protests and looting. Most protests on this matter have been peaceful. These protests shine a light on the issue of oppression, racism, and apathy towards subcultures.

    Except when theyre not.

Maybe they should actually choose to protest an incident where those things actually occurred, instead of one where they didnt. Big Mikey Violence didnt get shot because he was black and being oppressed, he got shot because he repeatedly assaulted a uniformed police officer. Shucks.

A peaceful protest is one the left approves of. You can threaten people, endanger lives, but if it's a leftist "protests" it will be declared peaceful. If they riot and loot and burn it isn't their fault. The only protests that are to be outlawed are the ones the left doesn't instigate.

Don't have to provide evidence that he directed people to break the law. If it can be proved that he spent money on getting people to the scene of the protest or to protest and they in turn break the law he can be held accountable for facilitating the unlawful acts.

You don't have to rob the bank. You don't have to drive the get-away car. Yet if you were the planner of the armed robbery, you are an accomplice and face jail time if arrested.

You still need evidence that he planned something other than peaceful protests. If the sports fans riot after the big win, we don't hold the franchise criminally liable because they provided the venue and the beer.

Of course not. The sports franchise didn't pay them to be there. Big distinction. George Soros apparently did and his funding facilitated the violence and destruction that ensued.

Yes but if you drop someone off who you think is just cashing a check...and they rob the bank, you're not liable.

So you are trying to convince yourself that Soros just bused in and dropped off protestors while paying them to do so and he was so naive that he never once thought it might get out of hand despite evidence to the contrary over the ensuing days and weeks of the protests that he allegedly continued to finance?

    Mmkay.

George Soros is the greatest living human.

Reflexivity is the most important philosophical discovery of the modern era.

He's alive. I guess that's what you call working with the nazis. A 14 year old surviving.

I don't hold that against him.
