Christians in the Holy Land: Don't call us Arabs

This is a unique Article that has to be read... This one has amazed me and filled my heart with Joy.
We the Israelis project the beginning of a new era where Peace, real Peace and serenity will come sooner than expected.
This article demonstrates that yes this era of hate can be broken for a new dawn of love and happyness.HB

Long identified as part of the country’s minority Arab population, Israel’s Christian community has recently begun asserting its own unique identity—one that is deeply tied to the Jewish State of Israel. Meet the Arameans.

    No big matter !
For religious reasons the Druze don't consider themselves Arabs as well.
And the Yazidi don't consider themselves Kurds and the (Ashkenazi) Karaites don't consider themselves Jewish.

Don't know if it's still applicable but the Egyptians never considered themselves Arabs, either, at least until after Nasser. Nasser didn't like Arabs, for all the loud noises in public about 'Pan-Arab nationalism' among ME leaders over the decades.

Egyptians are Egyptians, ******it. Arabs are Johnny come latelys in Egypt.

And there are quite a few Iraqis who don't consider themselves Arabs.

Arabs are from the Arab peninsula, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, that one that used to be the United Arab Emirates and before that the Trucial States, Yemen, etc. It's a wondrous place, "A garden surrounded by our spears" as some say, "The Anvil of God" according to others, but it's not the whole of South West Asia.

however much egyptians like to pretend they are descended from the pharaohs the evidence states otherwise. of course who doesnt like to pretend that, even the greeks have a legit claim to be descended from the pharaohs because the greeks proclaimed themselves pharaohs under ptolemy! all said and done, who dares to exhume their own forefathers (modern day egyptians) and expect to have that status granted is beyond my understanding.
Arabs spread across north afrika and east afrika at a considerable pace and impact even getting as far as Zimbabwe!

Arabs were trading with Egypt and East Africa 2,000 years before Islam.

Arab does not mean Muslim. Everyone in the ME, Arabs, Jews and anything else one wants to call themselves are all basically the same stock of people. They have been at each others throats for thousands of years and are not going to stop until they have either destroyed each other or they finally come to the conclusion that for their own best interests they need to stop, nothing the west can do will change a thing.,

yes, the Israelites documented that. greeks, iraqi's, ethiopians, sudanese, somalians, eritreans, syrians, sidonians and pretty much the entire region as far as turkey and Sudan were trading with egyptians 2,000 years before Islam.

im sorry casper but this is truly an incorrect assumption. many, many jewish ppl that occupy israel have not been at Arabs throats for thousands of years. many, many jewish ppl are but a recent addition to the equation. there is no reason to suggest that the polish and russian immigrants who call themselves jewish and live in Israel have any ancient feud with Arabs from the middle east. that is a purely political deception designed for reasons that we all know.

The original people of Israel were there when Egypt was the regional power house and throughout the ages, some left on their own and others were moved out by the Romans, and true some were converts from Europe. Thing is they are people of the region otherwise they would have Zero claim to the land they hold and as such they are part of the problem, the region as been doing what it is doing today for thousands of years and it is not going to stop any times soon. With that thought in mind why should we be in the middle of it, what do we get from the region we cannot get elsewhere, is it worth the trouble, I think not.

Why do you say that the "Israelites documented" that? Modern archeologists actually have documented it.

true, agreed, however allow me to expose to you a map of USA, look at it from an isolated perspective on a map...what organism does it remind you of?

true, so did Israelite literature. The forefathers of the Arabs have been in the region for millenia and no doubt had strong trade with them after all, AEgypt was the center of the western world at the time.

For someone living in the 'gallut' and manufacturing all kinds of interpretations, let me for a moment explain to this walking talking 'Encyclopedia Britannica'... The Christians are considered Arabs only by language and not by blood. The Christians in Lebanon are Phoenicians who are simply Arabophones, meaning Christians who speak the Arabic Language after they have been conquered by the Arab Islamic invaders....

If you had taken the pain to research the case for yourself and others... The Christian churches services and liturgy are said in 'Aramaic' one of the ancient languages of Jesus.
