Media say US economy is good, is it just a lie?

Where is the linkage between the FED and the price of a stock?

    Probable ...

Clinton administration created the bases for the last financial crisis, this Obama administration, being Democrat cannot be inferior to the Clinton's one.

For example the policy about net neutrality reminds in a really tremendous way what Clinton did about banks and mortgages to poor families ...

And the "stimulus"? In the mean term it works, but in the long term? Who will pay that public debt? Obama's daughters?

As you can read in this article [similar to many, many others] it's some years that analysts are opening their eyes about the long term legacy of the Clinton administration in the financial field.

I would add something about the promises of the "new economy" [the one connected to internent], actually Clinton promises too much also in this sector ...

I'm now retired and have been hearing about the USA's impending economic collapse my entire productive life, in fact, since I was a small child. And my grandfather, RIP, heard about it in his childhood too. In that time America has ended the Greatest Depression in history and won the two most horrible wars ever fought, after which we defeated Capitalism's greatest challenge rather handily, though it took a while.

I think we might weather instituting Universal Health Care and trying to keep our sick and elderly from starving somehow

If the next firm going bankrupt is Funnie Mae, then....

I fear what might happen, where our "leaders" may take us, if and when another collapse comes and it's a biggie.

The government saved it with Public's money. Because they need it. But now again Funnie Mae issued too much dangerous loans and facing a more serious collapse.

This time it's a big one because it's a currency problem.
