Veteran hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg wasn’t rapping Friday when he delivered a keynote address at the the SXSW Music festival.

Speaking at the wildly popular Austin, Tex. festival, Snoop, 43, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, Jr., bizarrely blamed President Ronald Reagan for the LA’s gang explosion in the 1980’s – of which he himself was a part.

Snoop plugged his upcoming HBO project about life on the west coast during the ’80s...
And now i have only one question...
Why thug who often talk about drugs, guns and violence and about necessity of these things, now is trying to blame famous politicians?
Or maybe he have a law degree? Why should we listen talks about law, from people who don't follow the rules?! Maybe you can tell me?

He's just a product of what the Leftwing of this nation has made him with their collective emphasis where minority thugs are concerned that "Nothing is EVER your fault!" Thus if it wasn't Snoop Dog's fault that he turned to a life of crime then it had to be Ronald Reagan's. Gives new meaning to the term 'low-information Dem Party voter', eh?

The crips started in 1969, the bloods started soon after.

The CIA under Reagan greatly worsened the crack trade and reaganomics devastated ghettos, leading young men to resort to crime to survive. So I can see where he's coming from.

I mostly just like the man's music though.

Snoop is a very intelligent political pundit. Look at the excellent reasoning he employed when he was mulling over who to vote for in the 2012 election

RMN. We used to call him a right wing 'reactionary'. Whatever happened to that word? Republicans do nothing except react. Never have. Never will.

This is a bald face lie and one that multiple left wing groups push constantly to re-write history and damn Reagan and the success of Conservatism.

    Here are the real numbers:

Inflation down from13.5 to 4.1 percent
Unemployment down from 9.5 to 5.2 percent
Federal discount rate down from 14 to 6.5 percent
Jobs increased by almost 20 million
Median family income rose every year from 1982 to 1989
Charitable giving more than doubled to more than $100 billion in 1988

He did all this while destroying the Soviet Union and providing us a space missile shield against ICBM's. (Not so secret anymore: lasers - they work. I know people who worked on the project that have been "declassified".)

Black families prospered huge under Reagan. These attempts to re-write history and call him a racist are disgusting. Liberals lie, the propagandize, it's what they do. They teach this crap in schools and make children recite worship songs to their prophets... sing with me:

    Barack Hussein Obama... MMMMM...MMMM....MMMMMM

Reagans amazing numbers were not smoke an mirrors. Barack Obama has more people out of work today than every before. He has grown the National Debt to nearly $18,000,000,000,000 endangering our children's future. He has made race relations horrible and divisive. I guess that's what happens when you treat a large segment of your population like, "typical white people".

Ronald Reagan is a national treasure. Barack Obama is a national tragedy.

Reagan had jack (*)(*)(*)(*) to do with the collapse of the Soviet Union. That was a result of the republics revolting one by one and the economy collapsing, accelerated by Glasnost allowing more freedom of information.

Furthermore, Reagan's policies lead to a tripling of the national debt and record spending. They didn't have enough time to greatly effect the economy until years later. Policies aren't instant. The great recession is largely a result of Reagan.

Furthermore, care to source those numbers?

Please explain in detail how the presidents action "devasted" existing ghettos, and that the actions of the young men to resort to crime and violence could be attributed to those policies.

At what point, do you start to hold people accountable for their own actions?

You know, Reagan's policy is a popular topic to discuss today, and Snoop catched the wave or maybe even created it...
