I was chuckling to myself earlier reading about how the pundits are calling out Kerry on his claims of setting up the first climate committees with Al Gore and the other wackos in 1980. He even mentioned Jim Hansen coming to testify before the committees about how doomsday was upon us back then. WAS - 1980's - If I recall one of Hansen's many horror stories was that Manhattan was going to be under 12 feet of sea water in about 12 - 15 years, and snow would be virtually a thing of the past. Imagine if you will, if you could go back in time and tell Hansen, Gore and all the others that by 2015 there would still be no meaningful reduction in world CO2 levels and the levels would be, well, what they are today. They would all have had an apocalyptic fit !!! They would have said than man would be dying out by 2015 if all that was true........ Well guess what?.....We are still here.... The polar bears are fine....... Polar ice is stable (little less here, little more there) You have to use a millimeter scale to measure sea rise No huge outbreaks of tornadoes and hurricanes etc......etc.....etc...... 35 YEARS How can any objective science minded person continue to preach this drivel??? Obviously they cannot. The ones still pushing this agenda are doing it for 99% political reasons. That is obvious to even the most simple minded. Elmer Fudd - Proud "denier" of what has been proven false.
It's stuff like that which makes the average citizen begin to doubt the legitimacy of these Climate Change hysterics in the form of leftwing scientists. Every time their predictions turn out to be wrong in a major way they move the goal posts and then declare their critics the Climate Issue equivalent of Flat Earthers. Global Warming not working out according to HYSTERICAL leftwing predictions? Relabel it Climate Change and then claim that ANY variation form a static 'average' up or down is proof that the world is doomed. So forth and so on.
That's the key element. Its not about science at all, science is just the fig leaf to hide the politics of control and jealousy.
40 years ago folks were worried about the coming ice age. Global warming was a thing that was talked about in the 1930's.
With such dire predictions never happening, they still wonder why people don't trust their word. Just how hopeless are these pundits? Wait... Let me backtrack... There still are faithful followers of the word. It has become a religion. faith based for certain, because there is no empirical evidence to support it.
So you making up nutty stories proves ... what? I mean, besides that you just make everything up. Everyone already knew that. You deniers need to understand that you all lying about the science doesn't make the science look bad. It just makes you all look like fanatical acolytes of a liars' cult. That's the #2 reason why the planet ignores you, your record of pathological dishonesty. The #1 reason, of course, is that your science sucks so badly.
