It's looking like 2015 is going to be a repeat of 2014's hottest year on record. 9.8/10 of the most published climate scientists support AGW theories. And still given all this deniers, with no contradicting data of their own, still deny man-made climate change is happening. It's sad and arrogant.

if 2014 was the hottest year on record, it was only .02 degrees warmer than the previous records of 2010 and 2005.

if each yeah is only .02 warmer than the next, than it we will be only 1 degree warmer in 50 years.

however, its only gotten .02 degrees warmer in 4 years, which ain't much at all.

Yeah you're right. No one lives in any of the red areas.

there is only a 38% chance that 2014 was the warmest year since 1880.

There has been no global warming in the last 18 years.

    >>>MOD EDIT Quoted Post Deleted<<<

There were Herbivore Dinosaurs and the vegetation to support them between 400 to 1200 miles from the North Pole about 60 Million years ago. The fossilized remains of both don't lie. Something cause the Earth to warm to that extent, man didn't exist and the fossils for oil were still walking around and growing from the ground. So what caused the Earth to warm that much? We know through indisputable fact that there were Herbivore Dinosaurs and the vegetation to support them between 400 to 1200 miles from the North Pole about 60 Million years ago. You can't rule out that the same process isn't happening again and nothing we can do will matter anyway.

Deforestation is likely a driver of any man made warming far more than any emissions. An area the size of England, Wales and Scotland (50 million acres) is cut down every year around the world. Trees are nature's carbon sinks. When that much carbon sink is removed every year, they are fighting a losing battle by simply controlling emissions. Unless the main thrust of climate change "control" if that's possible, is putting a stop to deforestation, don't bother us with trivial pursuits.

The oil companies, coal companies and others who benefit from the status quo have paid off a small percentage of scientists to deny climate change and people like you can't see through this. It's called ignorance. You repeat what you hear on right wing websites and news shows. >>>MOD EDIT Flamebait Removed<<<

Of course climate has always changed. I dont see anyone unhappy about companies moving to green techs, can you site a capitalist that thinks the goverment should step in and crush Telsa? No exactly the opposite, we applaud Musk.

The problem is how they go about it, why the hell should anyone be taxed for climate changing? Simply mandate certain industries must reach certain goals or any extra outout must be green, Maybe it cost more for a while, thats fine as long as there NO tax and wealth redistribution going on.

Look at toxic flame retardants, strangely no one is say we need a tax for that. No just ban the chemicals, companies adjust or disappear.

Who is denying climate change? The climate has been changing since climate began. Gee, maybe if humans had taxes a million years ago we could have escaped the major ice ages. :oldman:

Everyone knows the only way to fix the climate is to sacrifice money to the tax gods, only payment to the tax gods can redeem your soul and get you to paradise.

Oh and btw, if you dont want to pay that fine - they'll take it anyway and put you in jail/ hell for your sins.

I was regfering to the spring time. The winter was milder than usual, but so has the spring. It's April 21st and I still haven't turned on my A/C. Yesterday it was in the 70's in Fontana CA. I went to the California 500 March 29th 2001 and it was like 88 degrees.

Your opening statement assumes that those dinos were grazing in the same latitude and longitude all of those hundreds of years ago as exists today. That just didn't happen.

I think you have your AC turned up too high. Southern California has been shattering heat records all spring and winter long. It's hilarious how deep your head is in the sand. This information is easy to look up.

Speaking of contradicting data....it was admitted after the headlines cleared that they were only 38% sure of 2014 being the hottest. In other words, the headline which claimed fact, was not.

As to 2015 going the same? Most likely the narrative and headlines will be the same, whether it's actually true or not.

Apparently you believe everyone on earth lives in north eastern Canada. Are you completely ignoring every continent on earth is covered in red??

    - - - Updated - - -

We're not talking about climate. We're talking about global average temperature. We're talking about global warming. Not climate change. Climate change is the result of global warming.

Your approach is part of the problem.
Nobody actually pays attention to a prick.
They just wait for the prick to stop making noise.

Your thread addresses one year. That's weather.

Tell us about all the hurricanes that are/were predicted. That always cheers me up
