In my opinion, perhaps Gov Jack Markell from Delaware.

He's a good liberal and has for the most part kept his nose clean. Sure, he has a secret email address but that is not a big thing for Democrat politicians. I don't see her choosing another woman, and having a governor as a running mate would be a good thing for the ticket. IMO, it would add confidence for those "independents" who were going to vote Democrat anyway. They would have some defense being able to say that the governor will stabilize her on the places where she needs help.

VP's are generally chosen because they can help deliver a state or a demographic to the candidate. There have been a few exceptions such as Bush but that is generally how they are picked.

I don't know but if I had to guess it would probably be because of her falsely claiming to be an Indian to help her in her career.

That pretty much makes her dead on arrival.

Well, the smart thing to do would be to scour the country for someone even more repulsive than herself, to avoid assassination after the White House is given to her by big money interests.

Exactly. Hillary doesn't do clean. However she needs someone smart enough to stay out of the way, which disqualifies a lot of the more ambitious types. There's probably a few Senators that wouldn't mind the job, I'll betcha more than one will turn it down though because word has gotten around about how it is to work with (for) Hillary.

not really. She isn't running for prez because she knows that Hillary has that locked. She'll probably accept a cabinet position as she herself is only 2 years younger than Hillary and a cabinet position would be the cherry atop her taxpayer funded career.

IDK, a senator might be less conforting to people than a governor. Those who claim to be "independent" or "undecided" just need assurances to vote Democrat because they tend to vote Democrat (is anyone really struggling over the issue between big govt vs personal accountability). So, a governor who tends to stay out of the national spotlight will give those "independent" voters the cover they need so they can admit to voting for Hillary.

Hillary should choose Maxine Waters as her VP. Like Obama/Biden, Hillary needs someone dumber than her as VP.

She should pick Julian Castro from Texas. He is smart, young and will be an asset to the ticket.

OJ Simpson? He got away with a lot and counted on lies as well. They have a lot in common, but he probably doesn't have his own email server and a second, previously denied email account. But he did make it through a felony trial and got away with it so maybe he could offer advice.

She won't be the nominee. It will be a Warren-Sanders or Sanders-Warren ticket.

If Hillary were to win, she would be better off picking Mark Warner hoping to reverse Virginia's tilt toward the red side of violet of late. She gains nothing by going with a blue-state governor with very few electoral college votes in what would be a very tight race.

there is nothing for "Hillary to win" with respect to being the Democrat nominee

She is not "running for the Democrat nominee"

    She is "running for President"

No Democrat, "independent" or "undecided" will vote for anyone else. She has them locked for the general election

No scandal, fact or truth about her will cause her to lose one vote from that group. They are all in with Hillary.

The issue is how to get those voters who might not be too excited to actually leave their homes and go vote.

A low voter turnout will bode well for the GOP if they can draft Romney

It's going to be a name recognition election and right now, the Democrat party has a huge advantage with Hillary

She has to WIN the NOMINATION. The rest of your post makes no logical sense.

    she already has it

Sanders is a sacrificial lamb as will be the one or 2 others who "decide to run"

If the Democrat party were smart, they would see that no scandal, no legal issue, nothing...........will stop a Democrat, "independent" or "undecided" from voting for her.

They are wasting their money by striking a deal with Bernie to "run" in the primary and there is no need for O'Malley to "be considering it" as he's not needed.

The Democrats do not need to have Hillary opposed in the primary and are ready to gear up for the general.

Hillary is the ONLY ONE who gets them the WH. That is the prize and you seem to have lost sight of that. The Democrat party knows that.

Lol Hillary has the presidency locked?

    You sure about that?

Mitt Romney received PAC funding from only roughly 50% of conservative donors. Conservative donors are SO MUCH more wealthy than progressive donors. No one debates that.

If Jeb Bush runs, the conservative donors will pour every ounce of cash into him. The cons LOVE the Bush family.

    Money wins elections, not votes.

Romney's PACs vastly outspent Obama's PACs. Look where that got him. Money didn't win the election.

It's the ground game. Hillary is building hers now, not needing to spend money anywhere else.

Or O'Malley. Both he and Castro are clean and articulate.
