Mr. Justin Trudeau, let's take 937 of those Syrian refugees to Canada?

Mr. Justin Trudeau, I am truly impressed to see that you also met with King Abdullah of Jordan during his recent visit.

For years now I have been thinking that documentary, reality and semi-reality science fiction film projects can be used to address some of the massive problems that humanity is facing.

Hollywood has often dealt with the possibility that many theoretical physicists have postulated, that time itself may not be limited to being one straight line but instead may branch much like the limbs on a tree.

Let's imagine that a moment in 1939 can be recreated and we get to do a retake on Canada's decision regarding the M. S. St. Louis?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_St._Louis

The nation of Jordan has taken in 1.5 million refugees so perhaps 937 of them can come to Nova Scotia to participate in a practice run at doing things differently this time around.

Mr. Trudeau, after teaching English in Quito, Ecuador for over a year I returned home to Nova Scotia determined to be more socially and politically active.

I did campaign for public office three times as an independent and in 2009 I decided to join Canada's Liberal Party, largely because Mr. Stephan Dion had proven that we were taking the issue of climate change very seriously.

I also greatly admire the tact and diplomacy used by Mr. Michael Ignatieff as he termed the 2009 federal conservative budget relatively "liberal," considering the views of the Conservative Party and P. M. Harper.

Here is a write up that I did a few years back that shows that a problem that Canadians are facing may be more easily addressed in the nation of Jordan than can be done here in Canada.

(With only 31 votes in three campaigns combined, I felt that I may well be):

Mr. Trudeau, I am of the opinion that Sherbrooke Historic Village, might just be a great location to shoot at least some of the footage for a project like this.

Mr. Trudeau, this is potentially a win - win - win - win scenario for 937 refugees, for the economy of Jordan, for the owners of those 143,000 acres along the Bay of Fundy as well as for the people living in New Orleans and in vulnerable parts of Florida, (not to mention Bangladesh and other area of the world especially vulnerable to the threat of rising ocean levels).

    http://www.politicalforum.com/opini...saving-new-orleans-florida-rising-oceans.html
The Sahara Forest Project...and saving New Orleans and Florida from rising oceans!
Did you know that there is an Islamic prophecy that the Islamic desert regions would be turned green in the latter days?????

This topic is of special interest to me because I live about a hundred miles from the Bay of Fundy. I live five kms from the ocean on the eastern part of Nova Scotia. In my area the difference between low tide to high tide is about one meter! The land form of the Bay of Fundy has a funnelling effect on tidal waters and so parts of the Fundy have a difference of fifteen to seventeen meters between low to high tide!

The question on my mind would be if ocean levels were to rise about thirty centimeters in my part of Nova Scotia, would they rise by four or five meters along parts of the Fundy????

There are 143,000 acres of farmland taken back from the Fundy by dikes that are probably in the position of the proverbial canary in a coal mine in relation to rising ocean levels!

Every cubic meter of H2O added to the water table of nations in the Middle EAst will NOT be on top of New Orleans, Florida, Holland, Bangladesh or those 143,000 acres along the Fundy!!!!!

I felt a huge sense of relief when I first heard about The Sahara Forest Project!

    https://www.facebook.com/SaharaForestProject
    Sahara Forest Project
Theoretically, this could perhaps largely be financed by a Liberal Party Volunteerism Dollar or Hour, or perhaps by a Green Party Volunteerism Hour or Dollar if our ally Green Party Leader Ms. Elizabeth May is interested in cooperating on this?

Actually, I would like to see something along this line done one hundred or even one thousand times and take 93,700 to 937,000 extra refugees from Iraq and Syria into Canada….. but in order to do this many times….. we need to start by doing this at least once!

So many people have left Nova Scotia, to work out west in Alberta, that it would not be difficult to find housing for them!

By extra, I mean over and above the ten thousand that Canada plans to take here anyway over the next three years.

Mr. Justin Trudeau…. I would like to introduce you to a brilliant man who might just be able to do something huge toward partial financing of a peace deal between the nations of Jordan and Israel that centres around turning deserts green and semi-reality science fiction film projects that postulate ways in which the subject of Armageddon can be dealt with in such a way that the entire world economy is stimulated.

Please notice post #40 on this page……

Please visualize a micro - nation in Nova Scotia…. with Mr. Doron Kutash as a prince over that little nation……….. and he prints up a billion then later on ten billion….. Doron Kutash Volunteerism Hours….. (or Dollars)…. and they are used to partly finance film projects that actually address problems that people are having……….

    P. M. Stephen Harper is the perfect person to present a proposal to the nation of Israel…. and you Sir…. are the perfect person to present a plan to the nation of Jordan?

This is the type of project that could bring groups together who weren't getting along so well in the past.

Mr. Trudeau…….. a few years ago I had my doubts that I would ever read a more well thought out plan for peace between Israelis and Palestinians than the Bermigo Plan….. but then I was sent a link into:

Anyone who is being persecuted whether they belong to any religion or any nation should be welcomed. Have we not learned anything fron the M.S. St. Louis?

You have an exceptionally good point!

Yes, the lesson taught to us Canadians by the M. S. St. Louis saga is that we truly should be willing to use our massive land mass as a place of refuge for people whose lives are in grave danger in their homeland.

On the other hand.......... unless Canadians are largely ready to support a program of large scale immigration it is extremely difficult to sell that idea to Canadians. What I have in mind is almost completely financed by the private sector and needs to cost Canadian taxpayers almost nothing at all......(I can't say zero because I am hoping that these refugees will be given refugee status and eventually residency and many of them may go on to receive their citizenship so they would of course get MSI coverage)!

IF......… a group of churches would cooperate on printing up some sort of church Volunteerism Hour currency, (similar to the Ithaca Hour), then these notes could in theory be used to significantly finance bringing 937 to 9370 or eventually perhaps 937,000 Syrian and Iraqi Christian refugees here to Canada.

It is obvious that Christians living in Syria or Iraq are in even more danger than Muslims are in so there are valid reasons why a private sector and church backed initiative could focus on bringing Christians here to Canada.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...ations-should-print-their-own-currencies.html

Large churches in democratic nations should print their own currencies.

    www.CalgaryDollars.ca/
is a good example of how several dozen socially active residents of an area can begin what amounts to a second tier to the economy.

The Ithaca Hour is an excellent example of a similar concept being applied in the United States.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ithaca_Hours

Most North American churches have a desire to assist the poor and the oppressed. Well….. in 2014 efforts by a group of socially active Christians could easily transform dozens of homeless people into actors….. who are playing the role of homeless people….. and the specific efforts to help them could becomes scenes in a series of documentary and reality films designed to give the homeless people a job that finances their getting an apartment or at least a group home.

Most of us are unaware of the Worgl, Austria local currency experiment that was conducted during the Great Depression and how successfully it was copied in hundreds of communities in the USA. As a matter of fact…… it looks like what these communities accomplished played a significant role in inspiring the USA government to alter the monetary system in many positive ways.

I believe that the sheer size of the USA economy forces all of us Canadians to take a look at how the views and policies of Canada's P. M. and his political party could be relevant to American politics and government?

that I think has some advantages over Sigmund's idea for a tunnel.........

Thread: My two somewhat humorous submissions for $25 million Virgin Earth Challenge.
    ......

    How about this one...................

Concrete trenches.......... .and a concrete bottom to the trench..............

    filled with ocean water........

...... we pump ocean water to the beginning of the trench.........

Let's use Sigmund Ivarsson's Petra Project as a comparison........

    http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=451496&page=2&p=1066112163#post1066112163

Sigmund Ivarsson's Petra Project for Israel, Jordan and The Palestinians.

    ..........

Basically.... Sigmund is advising us to drill a tunnel..... nine meters in diameter.....
seventy kilometers in length..... from Tel Aviv to the Dead Sea......
    generate hydro electric power...........
then desalinate the ocean water on a large scale through projects like....
The Sahara Solar Breeder Project and/ or
    The Sahara Forest Project.....
the Geoff Lawton Ph. D. Jordan branch of Permaculture........

    ..............

Quite frankly..... I do think that that Sigmund's plan is brilliant but........
how about the option of concrete trenches that double as fish farms.......
from Tel Aviv to the area of the Dead Sea......

... the concrete trenches widen..... and narrow.... or go deeper...... as the ocean water from the Mediterranean....
is gradually moved further and further below sea level........
.... How about plastic covering on top of the opening for the trench....
that allows for evaporation and catching of evaporated water and takes that water to the ground.....
where it seeps in and begins to raise the water table in all the areas below this series of trenches.....?????

    M. P. Sean Fraser
    Ottawa, Canada

    Your Majesty King Abdullah:
    Dear Mr. Prime Minister Trudeau:
    Dear Mr. Fraser:

It is my goal to campaign again for public office at the municipal level but
I have a plan in mind where a printed local currency, similar to Calgary Dollars,
could act as a prop in a proposed series of semi-reality science fiction films
where actual refugees play the role most of the refugees on the M. S. St. Louis
that was turned away from Cuba, Miami and Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1939.

The goal is to use a local currency unit to assist in partial financing of moving
937 refugees from Jordan to Canada where they will be safe.

I am also hoping that the local currency could be helpful in raising funds for
the Strait Regional School Board where I work as a cleaner.

Thank you for you consideration of this proposal.

    Kind regards.

p.s. I have opened up this idea for discussion on a public internet political forum.

If..... Christians here in Canada would get together and combine their
resources....... and come up with a plan that would produce jobs for
nine hundred Christian and Yazidi refugees....... and bring the to Canada......
our nation would be greatly blessed for doing this.

Private organizations are free... to choose whoever they wish to sponsor.....
to become refugees.... when the federal government takes in refugees they
use a totally different set of criteria than could be used by private organizations,.....

    such as churches........
